In my experience, guys who are most successful with women share a number of qualities: a lot of are in a great physical form/have nice facial features, are very extroverted, tend to be risk-takers, disregard rules and are spontaneous. They also tend to be not that sharp. Not particularly stupid, but average or slightly below. They can have some form of artistic or athletic talent, rather accessible sense of humour and sometimes even style, but thats probably it. In work they tend to rely on their hands or people skills, in life dont have a set goal, but rather prefer to go with the flow and switch between interests once they become bored.

Even if we look at this group in the scale of the whole society, they tend to be actors/musicians/athletes and not scientists/philosophers. Not to say that women dont like intelligence at all, but it takes a very low place on the totemic pole. The only exception beeing when intelligence is converted to money/social status and then becomes a practical interest.
