In general, I believe a lot of people don't accept the responsibility of their actions. Men and women. Just think about all the negative interactions you have had with people? Whether it be in a casual or business setting. Most people will say it's not very common for a person to be humble and acknowledge their part in a situation. That has nothing to do with gender. It has everything to do with our cultural values and the bar we have set for ethical expectations.

If these men can't see they're at fault, they won't see that they should accept responsibility, and continue to blame women, or the bluepill, society, the world, etc. -- whatever the convenient scapegoat is for them. How do you convince angry, bitter men that they're the problem -- or at least, a problem -- in their failures in relationships? Million dollar question.

There are guys though who just have a lot of bad luck, and "accepting responsibility" won't necessarily fix their relationship issues without addressing other issues, if they can be addressed. Case-by-case.

That said, the underlying issue seems to be that the conditions that have arisen in modern Western society no longer seem to provide the circumstances and support men to succeed.

Men, particularly average men, have always been the more vulnerable sex in many ways. They need certain conditions to thrive. The sedentary, adventureless world we are creating along with more unrestricted female sexual selectivity, a decline in family, etc. just don't seem conducive to the flourishing of the average guy. It's unclear what can be done about it.

But you can see the appeal of video games and porn. You get camaraderie and respect, with adventure and achievable challenged with constant reward in video games. With porn, you get sexual access of a sort.

I think given the ideology here, a lot of people won’t accept blame for break-ups or loss of interest or a partner wanting a more lively and appreciative partner. I don’t speak of those who legitimately had their hearts broken, but more the people who tend to do the heartbreaking getting mad when someone does the same to them. Like a man who was deliberately cold or distant with his partner, outright cruel to his partner but he wants to play the victim when she leaves him in the dust. Likewise you have women who were cold and distant towards their partner or outright cruel to them, but when he leaves her suddenly “men ain’t shit.” Those people will not take responsibility because it makes them feel less shitty or more vindicated to blame everyone else. If it isn’t the fault of men or women as a whole gender it’s the fault of society, not enough prayer in schools, that Lil Nas X video, gremlins. It’s everything else but them.

Red pill rage is a thing and many men who first hear of the red pill have to overcome the process of grieving because they never understood how dating and relationships worked until that point.

They who blame only women for their troubles form a large collective within the red pill community but they do not represent the main tenets of the red pill.

You shouldn't look for blame, you should look for what put you in your circumstances. Blaming is an automatic emotional reaction akin to getting angry that you bumped your head into something. It's productive in the least productive way.

Instead of blame, my own opinion is you should try to understand it, because if you get an automatic emotional reaction when thinking about something, it means you don't understand it enough.

And if you don't understand it enough, how can you make a verdict about who's at fault? It matters less who did it (i.e. was it your fault or someone else's) and more why it's the way it is. Only when you understand its causes and circumstances can you do something about it, and also have relief that you are once more in control of whatever you are able to control, such as some aspect of your sex life or the quality of your relationships.

Self-reflection is painful because you gotta put your flaws out in the open, either clearly in your head or to someone who won't immediately judge you, and unfortunately not many people want to venture out of their "im perfect" cocoons for too long. Same goes for those that go the opposite "im irredeemable & hopeless" route. Both thought processes are emotional extremes built on an overinflated ego.

The truth behind a person's bad dating life is in the middle, where there's different aspects of the person, his society and their social group involved, but it takes a while to find it.

And many men are in the process of finding it; some take more time, others less.

Men are still accepting responsibility for their actions. They don't have any choice - they are required to accept responsibility not only for their own actions, but for those of women as well. So I reject your premise because what you claim happens, isn't happening. I don't accept for one minute that men, especially Red Pill men, aren't accepting responsibility for their part in their marriages'/relationships' failures. That's TRP 101 - own your shit. This isn't a men or woman thing, it's an individual thing. Everyone can be jaded from bad experiences, be optimistic or pessimistic. Both men and women can have these character traits and personalities that leads them to be more likely to avoid responsibility.

In real life I don't see this happening as much as it's represented online.

I hear what you are all saying and agree that both men and women have issues accepting responsibility. Although to me it appears that when it comes to relationships going south, men don't seem to want to admit any of their mistakes they made that partially got it there. Admitting our mistakes and learning from them, allows us to move forward and have a better shot of making a relationship work the next time around. If people don't own up to their mistakes, they'll continue to make the same mistakes over and over again, and never progress. I'm not saying that women admit all of their mistakes, but it seems like women are more in tune with why their relationships fail when compared to men. This is coming from a 47 year old man with lots of dating and life experience.

Both parts of feminism and red pill does this thing of pushing the locus of control externally - blaming society, others for everything that happens.

If I had to look at raw numbers I think most red pill guys end up realising that they need to work on themselves and more than the feminist types they are likely to have an internal locus.

So yeah for both genders they don't responsibility but the prevalence of this behaviour is less among red pill men as compared to blue pill men, blue pill women, feminists, or any other group out there except maybe Jordan Peterson fans.

A lot of people complain about the job market too. You might assume those people are just sad sacks who want to make an excuse for why they don't want to leave the couch. Or, they could be burnt out from sending out thirty resumes a week, sitting through dozens of interviews, and they just want to vent about their struggles.

And guys that complain about the sexual marketplace are the same. Some of us do work hard at fixing ourselves, but we can also see that the game is rigged, and we don't like it. So we come to the manosphere to vocalise our frustrations.

It's not like we just sit around all day complaining about women. It's just that we're not going to come to a place to vent when everything's going fine.

Yes and no. My husband doesn’t do that, he’s respectful & responsible for his actions. However, I see so many bitter men saying that women have negative value, yet still beg for sex. They won’t admit it, but they still need and crave women, regardless of if it’s only for very brief emotional connection. Don’t forget, anger is still an emotion. How on earth you’re going to put that much of your own stock value into chasing after something you say you detest so much is so mind boggling contradictory. But then when you point out that women are continuing to make more, still doing more in the household, are more educated, and are still putting in a significant amount of more effort into themselves than men ever do, it’s crickets.

Men who are that gung-ho over “womenz is bad” refuse to accept any other views & facts that contradict their very shallow and enclosed bubble of a safe space they’ve created are only showing that they refuse to grow as human beings. They’re stuck in this very immature state, and it’s pathetic. You have endless resources, and yet you still refuse to use them. That’s what separates boys that think with their dicks from men.

You’re responsible for your own actions, and those actions do, in fact, include treating an entire gender like human trash.

But I refuse to say that all men are irresponsible. Because all men are not.
