"Woman" doesn't mean "submissive". Yes, on average, women are more submissive than men. No, not all women are submissive, and most aren't very submissive.

Alright, I dunno about all this.

I like big strong muscle arms, but it's not about power or dominance like you say first and foremost. Yes, I like feeling protected in them, that's a nice thing. But honestly, a lot of it is the fun, easygoing, play that we have in them. Like, I mean literal playing. My boyfriend will pick me up, carry me places, (I'm giggling the whole time) and he'll plop me places and we'll rough house or he'll tickle me, or he'll kiss me on my sides while holding me down, and it's all very funny and I'll laugh until I cry. There's no losing. There's no "I'm in his power and he's unstoppable" or that I'm "weak". I don't feel dominated, I feel like I'm playing with someone else and we're both having fun together.

Even when a guy is holding you down and there's some sense of dominance, it isn't usually hot because you're "losing". It's hot either because he's really into what's happening or he's not letting you make it about him and making it really clear he wants it to be about your pleasure at that point. The idea this is about being so weak you cannot stop him as the only reason strength and protection is hot is silly. It is really cute to see a man so excited about me that he picks me up and twirls me around or carries me to play or sex or whatever. It's nice. It's fun. It's teasing.

Height is similar, but it's also often about utility. Someone has to be able to reach the orange juice in the supermarket and it ain't gonna be my petite ass. It also makes you feel protected, sure, but that's not about someone losing and especially not about me losing.

Tattoos and scars are interesting and tell a story. Do they maybe say badass, sure, I guess sometimes, But often not, they're just artistic, they're nice. Or they tell a story and help you know someone more deeply.

I don't want a man who dominates me or even necessarily others. I want a man who is competent enough that if I'm not fully equipped to handle something he might be. I want a man who can make decisions if I don't want to. I want to feel safe not to make the decisions. But, I also want to be able to make the decisions when I want to or compromise. I want my equal, not my master. I want for us to both be so enamored and respecting of the other that we are both serving and worshipping each other. I want a man who is my prize and beloved and I am that for him. And frankly, I've found that.

And also, it's like you've never heard of the concept of being the power behind the throne or topping from the bottom. There's lots of times I let my man do stuff knowing I can get what I want later or down the road or will correct his foibles behind the scenes without hurting his ego/feelings.

The idea that passivity is necessarily submissive has allowed women to control men for eons. Just because I don't appear to be doing very much doesn't mean that's the case. Appearances are quite deceiving as they say. If I chose all the choices you get to make, how am I submissive? If a woman goes to a man and says, "Would you like Steak or Chicken for dinner" she's seen as the submissive one. But she chose what he gets to choose from. She chose his dinner options. More so, she chose her dinner options. She's more passive seeming, that doesn't mean she's completely in a man's control in this interaction.

Okayy…well the real world tells me it’s all about the face and body for most people regardless of gender..i don’t know why ppl keep trying to make it deeper than it is, if you are attractive to the person usually face and body and for women it can also be the connection but that’s all it takes for both genders..don’t need to go so deep into the rabbit hole it’s actually just simple as that.
