If the guy isn’t that into her back, then he’s more likely to cheat, not put any effort into the relationship, and she is less likely to be able to keep up that level of obsession with a partner who isn’t as interested back.

I know of a women who didn’t like their boyfriends back as much. It wasn’t great, but a lot fewer of them cheated as the men who I saw as less invested. Men don’t tend to respect women who like them too much when they don’t have that mutual admiration.

If a guy is obsessed with a girl who isn't as crazy for him eventually he'll get sick of her shit.

So, with the assumption that "tens of men" are into her (which is unlikely) meaning that she, having more options, should be more obsessed, you're really saying that the more desirable one should be more obsessed with the less desirable one. In general, I think equal obsession is ideal. Nothing worse than the other person not matching your energy and effort.

If the woman sees the guy as a real catch then I don't think his obsession would be relationship ending. At worst she might get occasionally tired of the attention after a while. But the key is that he's irreplaceable in her mind, otherwise if she thinks she can do better then being overly obsessive might lower his value subconsciously.

Even without using the word "obsession" though women are generally attracted to a man who is more competent than her, physically or otherwise. And it's human nature that when you're with someone you feel is more competent in some way there's a certain respect or awe that comes with the territory, in situations where that competence is being demonstrated.

Yes because women try harder in relationships when they are emotionally invested. Men generally arent good with social cues and thus in a relationship they are usually worse at maintaining happy relationship. Women are better at the people pleasing game essentially out of survival instinct

I think they both need to be obsessed with each other. I admit going into my current relationship I felt so much more safe because I knew my partner was much more obsessed and in love with me than I was with her (at first) but if my feelings hadn't grown for her and reciprocated I would have grown bored with her and left her for someone more stomulating like I did the 4 girls right before her... Though I agree our relationship definitely feels more rock solid because she's so into me and I subjectively feel more secure because of it

Not necessarily. If he's not "obsessed" enough with her, he's likely to eventually doesn't flirt with and possibly cheat with other women. In this case, the relationship won't last long. Women don't want to be cheated on even by the men whom they are obsessed with.

i will talk from my experience , i would say yes/no , because been in that position it will create some kind of hostility, especially if you're more attractive than her , she will feel powerless , and women hate not been in control , she will be much more insecure toward you while also treat you so good in the beginning, also been with you will put more expectation on her and in the long run will make her very unhappy ,
