Reminds me of a comment I made earlier on a thread regarding female attraction to confidence:

The thing is, even if it’s all a facade based on bullshit, if you can get someone to believe your bullshit (a woman in this case) — that’s all that fundamentally matters.

Women want someone who can take care of everything and do all the thinking for them. Even if your thought process isn’t the most logical or well-reasoned, if you seem assured in your decision making, that’s usually enough for women to feel safe with you leading.

Honestly I wish I was blue pilled. No one, to my knowledge, wants to be red/black pilled, it's usually something you become after experiences with women.

There's this one dude I knew since college, ended up dating my crush, and is practically the definition of a "soy boy" - chubby, short, into massively childish shit (collecting action figures and watching marvel films), did an art course, is massively liberal, etc.

And you know what? I'm jealous of him, I wish I could be living his fairy-tale life dating my crush and believing the dating world is a meritocracy. However my shitty experiences with women, and just general rational thought, has pulled back the veil. It's like the movie "They Live", once you see what life is really like you can't just take off the glasses and pretend everything is like it was before.

And on some level of schadenfreude, I want that guy I mentioned to fail. I want her to break up with him, or cheat on him, because it doesn't seem "fair" that he gets to live in fantasy land meanwhile I have to deal with reality.

I just had thought about online dating: You swipe on people and match with them well knowingly you find each other attractive. You don’t ever go on a date and the chat between the two of you fizzles out. An hour, a day, a week, a month or a year might pass and you forget about each other. While I strongly disagree that a woman’s career is irrelevant to her dating potential, I think a high paying career can’t be used as a way to date even higher earning men.

If you are making over 6 figures (adjusted for cost of living of course) already, most guys making more probably don’t need to worry about how much their partner makes. That being said, having a high paying career puts you in proximity of other high paying people, but it doesn’t guarantee anything.
