I'd say there are about 3 factors as for why.

Reddit had multiple big subreddits filled with 'incels' which were scrubbed clean because of their content and influence on the wider society.
Reddit just like most weird forums and internet places has a lot of men and boys as users, which is why people concentrate on those topics even more to stop others from the 'incel trap'

and lastly

Reddit is unique in it's moderation as instead of people simply reporting to paid instances, you got reddit moderstors doing a lot of the moderation pro bono. Which leads to moderator biases bleeding into the culture of the website aswell. Given that a lot of reddit moderators are also more left leaning in their bias and you got a site that censors or shrubs anti-"left" ideas. Mind you i'm not saying that is necessarily a bad thing, just that the self-governance approach of subreddits allow stuff like this to happen. The term "power mod" and the memes to that regard simply don't come from anywhere.

The existence of blatant incel subs on this site with rhetoric as on the nose as "DAE women should be sex slaves" and praising mass shooters "ironically teehee wink wink nudge nudge" was a problem for a while and got seriously cracked down on in response to global mass shooting incidents.

After the crackdown...these subs kinda lost their direction imo. They were intended to call attention to seriously dangerous rhetoric, not shit on men for expressing their frustrations with OLD or something. That's around the time I started noticing the term "incel" get thrown around more casually.

TLDR: They served their purpose, the people who seriously cared about public safety moved on with their lives and the rest are just...hanging around with unclear goals and motivations, to put it lightly.

TikTok, Instagram and Twitter are about visibility so often you need some form of visual credibility/fame/notoriety/real world pedigree to be taken seriously, whereas sites like this or 4chan are completely anonymous.

I read a really, really funny meme the other day about how the difference between an incel and a neckbeard was that the former was self aware enough to understand their shitty position.

Incels are just a type of weird shut-in subculture that has formed over the last decade. But, in reality, there seem to be a number of these weird, oddball countercultures. I feel incels gain the most traction because they are, in fairness, pretty dangerous. I can think of at least three mass murderers/serial killers who were somehow linked to inceldom. Even here in the UK, one recently shot six people in Plymouth.

However, what I think is key to note that incels are really just a symptom rather than the root cause. A lot of weirdos online are having their oddball opinions validated in their echo chambers. Since Reddit pretty much allows psychological feedback loops to proliferate, it doesn't surprise me you see people from one fringe group getting pissed at those in another.

Honestly, people complain about lonely men but I often find there is a strong contingent of disturbed, fruitcake female posters on Reddit too.

If you can remember a couple of years back, it used to host the largest incel communities to exist on a mainstream social media platform. These users and their legacy are still around, as is the backlash to them. Of course Reddit's dirty secrets are fascinating to users.

Reddit loves punching bags. I suspect a lot of this has to do with many/most redditors getting bullied when they were younger, so now that there are some socially acceptable groups to target those subreddits are very popular.

You see this with certain celebrities like Chris Brown. Any time this guy is mentioned dozens of people will turn up to shit on him.

They lash out at the "bad" incels who say aburd things on incel forums so they can feel better about their own shitty situations. Inceltear has lots of "I might be a 35 year old virgin, but at least I'm not hateful about it like those incels!" types posting on it. It's not even really speculation. One of the mods of Inceltear, advocatedoogy, recently got outed as a mid 30s autistic permavirgin who lives with his parents and tried to groom an underage girl for sex. Dude was like the living embodiment of the stereotypical incel that inceltears lashes out at, and he was the one running the place.

Part of it is the current obeseeion with "safe" speech. (Speech while wearing a condom?) Incel content started being purged from the net in general following the Elliot Rodger killings. The assumption seems to be that every incel is a potential mass shooter. Of course, Elliot Rodger got the attention he did in large part because of how unusual he was. Incels (And Rodger never referred to himself as such) mostly just lead lives of quiet desperation.

The second reason is that incel content tends to get awfully repetitive and people tire of it. There seems to be only so much that icnels can say for themselves, but they can end up saying it endlessly.

Because it's one of the few evils that they can realistically fight against and make a meaningful positive difference in the world they interact with. Reddit allows you to write more in comparison to tiktok, insta, and twitter. There's no cap on characters. There is no visuals to detract from your arguments so people don't devolve into appearance shaming and criticism right away. Incels started in forums (4chan) so it's not surprising that they would appear in a different forum based website. Forums allow them to be anonymous so they can say their misogynistic rhetoric without repercussions. Contrary to what Incel men believe, not all women like to dance half naked on tiktok or take 1200 selfies for insta. There are women that want to be completely anonymous online as well so they can enjoy their experience of a website without any sex based jokes being thrown at them every second.

Reddit in particular has grown its user base and women have appeared on the website. There's a general trend of women entering male dominated websites and apps like discord. Obviously, those women want to enjoy their experience on the platforms instead of being inundated by Incel rhetoric. Casual misogyny is everywhere and it really taints a person's experience trying to enjoy a platform when every single second of every single day, you're told that you're a worthless piece of shit by Incel men.

It's not so much that reddit is up in arms about Incels but more so that reddit was already filled by Incel men that are very vocal. As for the popular subs you mentioned, Incels have their own subs that go on to degrade and shame women. Obviously women would make their own subs to counter that. It's only natural that when a certain type of people flood a website with Incel rhetoric, there's going to be a backlash of some sort. It's not the biggest boggyman the problem is that it's all too common.

I think it’s because those platforms require a following to be seen by any notable amount of people. I don’t think incels are gonna be part of that influencer level of following. Here you can be a nobody and post on a subreddit with millions of followers and be seen by the masses. So their weird views get highlighted and reacted to more often.

As well as plenty of incel echo chambers where average joes can lurk and cringe at the way these self identified incels brains work and cross post the more wilder views to the rest of us.
