I don't know what the authors or respondents were thinking (probably lying through their teeth), but why would you get in a relationship where you don't constantly want to have sex with your partner? I get it, there are life problems and work, etc., but unless you're exhausted to the point of just not being able to move, you'd probably be up for sex with a person you, supposedly, truly desire.

You already know I'm an "expert" when it comes to sexless relationships/marriages, having been cheated on twice by my previous gfs, and suffering from a dead bedroom right now, so I've got nothing positive to add to this discussion. What about you?

Excerpt: “The study of American couples found those who had sex once a week were the happiest - and that contentment did not increase with more frequent intimacy. The research was based on surveys of 30,000 American couples' sex lives over the past four years.”

"Our findings suggest that it's important to maintain an intimate connection with your partner, but you don't need to have sex everyday as long as you're maintaining that connection."
