So I basically read this as a critique of the behavior of some women who act like they are sexually interested in you when they have no intention of acting on it. Thicke is saying he hates when women tease/lead a man on. In no place does he say he's going to do something anyways, instead he simply repeats the mantra "I know you want it" as if to say "if you want it then why are we playing these stupid tease games...be up front with what you want and do it"

This is about the confusion men experience from women who seem to be sending mixed signals about their interest in a man. Pretty common male experience, and I sincerely doubt anyone on this board has not been in a situation where a girl seemed into you one second, then not into you the next. Or worse, a girl you know is dating someone is hanging all over you. It's extremely confusing when this happens, and can be frustrating. This bridge seems to be about the girls either current or ex-boyfriend...a man who apparently had the girl on "lock down" in some way. It's unclear how. Thicke is saying "let me liberate you" to a woman. The key word here is "let" and the basic idea is that because she seems so sexually interested in Thicke, he doesn't understand why she won't let him have sex with her. The last line "and that's why i'm going to take a girl" seems to say "i'm going to put up with this because I think you're actually interested in me sexually and you will eventually decide you're willing to have sex with me"

Here's what a lot of feminists point to as "rapey". The term "I know you want it" is not inherently rapey. It simply points to the dual nature of sexual desire...you want it inside but everything else about the situation prevents you from just doing what you want. It seems this girl is dating someone and is possbily on the verge of cheating on her boyfriend but is on the edge and sending mixed signals IE "blurred lines" about her intentions to cheat on her boyfriend with thick. "The way you grab me" seems to show that the girl is making physical contact...not Thicke. He is interpreting this as "she must want to have sex with me". Then he invites her to "get at him" .... he isn't willing to make the first move...he's frustrated by the blurred lines of her flirting, but is saying if you actually want it then come to me and get it.
