I feel very privileged wearing the same shirt and tie I wore last week.

If you polish your shoes every week they last for years and years and always look smart. It's a privilege to own just three pairs of shoes and not get upset about it.

Use spray starch on your shirts and they look crisp and new. No need to buy shirts more than once every three years. Metal collar stiffeners keep the shirt looking like new. Iron the inside of the collar first: stops the ends curling inwards.

Rub a dry bar of soap on the inside of your trouser crease then press the outside with a medium iron. Sharp crease!

Place a damp cloth over your jeans when you iron them. They'll look clean and smart and you won't need to keep going shopping for clothes. Privilege!
