Edit: I am talking about relationship standards. Not male standards for sex. I think the male standards for sex do not matter because women do not feel flattered if a guys wants to have sex with them, as we know a lot of guys would fuck any girl. And yes alot of males standards are low for sex but most women do not want to be a pump and dump so it doesn't matter what your standards are for sex.

Men always claim to have low standards yet their actions say otherwise. I'm starting to believe that most guys think the average women is a thin pretty 21 year old.

I was reading the thread earlier about whether men are attracted to overweight girls and most said stuff along the lines of they aren't gf material and they wouldn't be seen in public with them. Seeing as there is so many overweight women out there its a bit out of touch to say you are repulsed by overweight girls yet you claim to have "low standards". Most of the girls that OP were referring to in that thread were also facially attractive and young so that also says something about men on this sub and how there standards aren't low as they may claim.

I also think porn and social media skews what guys think the average women looks like. Most men see girls with plastic surgery all over their feeds (and they dont know it), which really distorts their view of what women look like. They may be surprised that a lot of natural girls have saggy breasts, stretch marks, flat chests etc in real life.

It just seems like men like to claim they are very accepting yet they are far from it. And there's definitely guys on here who complain about women's "unrealistic standards" yet they themselves may have unrealistic standards. I never thought of myself as having low standards but I would date an overweight guy who's under 6ft. But most guys on here wouldn't even date a girl who's overweight so they cant claim to have low standards.

I think it is absolutely find that men may only be attracted to certain women but it is incredible misleading in this group that men spread the idea that they are some how not superficial and very accepting (eg low standards) when they really aren't. For the most part men and women are just as superficial as women. Women for the most part dont want bald, short, fat, small dicked men. Men dont want overweight, flat chested/saggy boobs, flat butts, large labia women.
