Mine left hers too, she got to fat and they needed to be resized anyway, so engagement ring I chucked out the car window one day, wedding ring/s I threw away, bottom of the ocean now 😆 but that was me.

Edit: and im talking resized to like size tire.

I asked my ex wife for her wedding ring, and she got pissed, and I told her that I had bought it, and that I wanted to take it to pawn it, and she wanted to give it to our daughter, I told her the ring was cursed like the entire marriage was unfortunately, I knew damn well I was never going to see that ring, lol.

I want to give my ring back to her. The rings were a gift from her grandmother: it were the rings her parents wore till their death. I would ask to not take out my name and pass it on to one of our children... but perhaps I can do that myself eventhough I think stbxw should have them

sad part about jewelry is that as expensive as it is, you get pennies on the dollar if you try to sell it.

I unfortunately used my grandmother's wedding ring to propose, luckily my ex wife left it and I gave it back to my mom, I never wore mine, it's sitting in a box somewhere.I always wore one of the plastic ones and tossed those the day she left. I let her pick out the wedding bands and she chose some off of Etsy. They were only like $450 for both of ours so resell isn't really worth it.

I let her keep it.

It’s my testament that I love her and didn’t want her to walk away.

She can feel the guilt of selling or getting rid of it. It would have been hard for me, but now my conscious is clear regardless what she does.

I took it back, because it was a gift from my mom. And at the time, the ex was selling everything that meant something to me, just to spite me.

I kept it to give to my son, when he finds that special girl.

My exwife lost both her wedding and engagement rings in the hospital. I remember begging her to put her jewelry into her purse. She was convinced it would be stolen from there. She went in for an MRI and they had her put her jewelry into a bag and into her hospital gown.

Yep, hospital gown went into the laundry hamper at the hospital.
