Hoping to hear from men who have gone through a separation and it has been positive for them and their spouse in the long run. Not positive in that they are glad to be done with they horrible wife but where they remain amicable, co-parent together, and life is good. I love my wife, she is a good person and a good mother but we just don't seem to gel anymore and it makes dialy life really hard.

We're going to therapy together in a few weeks and I'm hopeful that will help but I also have moments where it just feels like we're not meant to be together. She's going away to a hockey tournament with our daughter for three days and I'm staying home with the other kids and I honestly cannot wait. I feel terrible about it but it's the truth. It's just so much easier and less stressful when she's not here.

Just grasping at straws here I guess and looking for light at the end of the tunnel.
