The media will never add nuance. The truth is movements like 4B and Korean feminism is a result of the extremely cynical and nihilism that has emerged in South Korea especially the younger generation. I've read Korean male anti-feminist posts and the common denominator they have with Korean feminists is that South Korea is a hellhole but they each blame the other Korean women/Liberal party or Korean men/Conservative party. This is a huge generalization but its more nuance that the western media or average Korean will tell you.

The truth is South Korea has a higher quality of life than a lot of western countries but younger South Koreans who never experienced poverty or a dictatorship are just spoiled and just think US or Europe is better even with all the news of crime, drug use and problems with immigrant integration. In fact I think a huge part of the problem is not having mass immigration which causes everyone to focus even more on the "gender conflict".

If you've watched the korean movie Parasite which won best picture Oscar, you will know what I mean. The "poor" Korean family weren't living in a ghetto with high crime, no guns, no inner city gangs, no drug users on the street, but they were just jealous of that rich family. Many critics wondered if instead of some critique of inequality the director was secretly exposing the jealous "poor" Korean family for being ungrateful idiots.

As a overseas Korean something that I noticed about Koreans in Korea is that they aren't very nationalistic at all like the common stereotype. They will go ape when Japan does something disrespectful to them but generally they are always cynical and put down their own country, especially when compared to white western countries. They overglamorize western countries when almost every single western white country is going through angry debates over immigration and close to tearing themselves apart over it.

Let me offer some peace of mind: any radical beliefs or opinions by young women with no life, relationship or world experience shouldn’t be given this sort of attention. In other words, the women who believe this, are the type of women you don’t want in your life anyway. So we haven’t lost anything, but now we know the ones to avoid because they’re making it loud and clear.

How far do you think they’re going to get before it all crumbles around them? Late 20s? Early 30s? Mid 30s? This nonsense is for the inexperienced. Time always wins. At best the movement is around 5000 perma-online women in a country with the population of 50 million. I think it’s because women probably find the conservative guys more attractive on average (unsurprisingly) and they know this subconsciously (huge denial about it though), so 4B is their preventative measure against “accidentally” sleeping with conservative-leaning guys. Funny thing is, the majority of voters (55%) were female. If they all voted for Harris, they would've overridden male votes. Turns out, 44% of them voted Trump (58%, a majority, of white women did). Funny how they hold us accountable for something wrong yet not women.

Some people honestly seem to think they're going to earn respect and admiration by shoving their beliefs down everybody's throats and acting like a child. (A lot of school shooters have the same mentality.) The world just doesn't work that way. You cannot force people to like something they don't like. Would you have suddenly changed your opinions on topics had Kamala Harris simply won?

Most of this issue is based on liberal or left leaning women seeking to avoid Trump supporters and since a lot of these women aren't gay, they want to ensure their dates align with their basic values. They also avoid conservative women for friendships and the like so it's not really targeting men. Things like religion, abortion bans, overt misogyny, and threats to democracy strongly conflict with their beliefs. In some cases they are avoiding all men beause they're in an area with strict abortion bans or they've had bad luck with men. A lot of conservatives and men in general don't read about the devasting consequences of this but a lot of women and liberals do. I went through a list of this on a post I made here yesterday but there's way more than what I listed. A lot of women are simply trying to avoid falling into this disaster.

Obviously this doesn't apply to MAGA type women and there are roughly the same amount of conservative vs. liberal women, with a small percent that can go either way. If you lean Democrat (which is a rarity on this site) you just need to prove very clearly that you're a real Democrat and not faking anything. If you're more conservative, just date MAGA women. No problem. I honestly think some men here enjoy being mad and look for a reason to constantly complain about something. Most of y'all HATE these liberal women and don't want to date them anyway. Do men honestly think female Trump supporters are in on this too?
