We all already know that women generally prefer tall men. Of course, this upsets short guys. They cry about how women are "shallow" and "delusional". What these men need to understand is that there's actually a deeper, more empathic reason behind this preference. It ultimately comes from a place of love, not delusion or hate.

Women do not want to handicap their own sons. That's it, that's the reason. If you're a short guy, you already know how society treats you. Everyone is so quick to dismiss, ridicule and ignore you. Dating is an uphill battle. Even if you acquire wealth/status and use it to attract women, you'll still doubt the authenticity of your relationships. It just sucks. Why would a woman want those same struggles for her son? Why would she want to produce a bitter manlet?

Women want their sons to be tall, confident and desirable. They want their sons to be successful with women so that they produce beautiful grandchildren. They want their sons to grab things off the top shelves for them. They want to humble-brag to their friends about how "it's so hard to find clothes that fit my son, he's so tall!" They want to jump into their sons arms, straddle them, look lovingly into their eyes and think "My big, beautiful boy... I love my big boy!"

Is that weird? Maybe it is a little bit. But here's the thing, the love that woman has for her son is pure. She is full of pride and joy, enchanted by her own creation. You'd rather have her feel indifference towards her son? Why?

Women preferring tall men isn’t about vanity. They're just trying to stack the odds in their offspring’s favor. What’s wrong with that?
