I have heard a lot of women after hookups say something along the lines of “he used me for my body,” and it’s always confused me. Now obviously when i say this, I’m talking about consentual situations. If this argument was used for sexual assault, this would be a completely different conversation.

My problem is when women choose to have sex with men and then say that he was using her. The reason it bothers me so much is because there was consent provided, and consent means that sex was wanted by both parties. To me that says either 1 out of 2 things

  1. You wanted to have sex with eachother. Basically saying you’re using eachother for eachothers bodies.

Or 2. You don’t want the sex, but you’re doing it for an ulterior motive (to please him, to make him notice you, for romantic stuff, etc) which means you’re using him even more.

There’s nothing wrong with regretting something. Everyone has dumb hookup stories they regret, but they make it so 1 sided
