If you deep dive into feminism you find women who are fighting to make it illegal for men to care for children, who advocate for selective abortion of boys and who want men to be reduced to 10% or less of the total population. In countries like the UK they successfully legally defined rape in such a way that it is considered legally impossible for men to be raped.

They're not only dangerous, they now have substantial institutional power and they are pursuing their agenda relentlessly.

There is nothing to talk about with people who hate you and wish you dead.

This argument only works if you judge red pill by the most unhinged men online, while judging feminism by its cleanest, most socially acceptable version.

I’m not defending men saying women shouldn’t vote or work. That’s stupid, fringe, and politically irrelevant. Some bitter guy saying “repeal the 19th” on the internet is not the same as an actual movement with institutional power. Women are not losing the vote. Women are not being removed from the workplace.

But feminist ideas actually do have institutional power. They affect schools, HR, media, family court, campus rules, corporate policy, and public discourse. So comparing worst-case manosphere comments to moderate feminism is dishonest.

Worst vs worst, the red pill guy says women are hypergamous, manipulative, and men should not be naive. The worst feminist says men are predators, masculinity is dangerous, male sexuality is suspect, women should be believed by default, and boys need to be socially reconditioned.

One of those mostly lives in angry online forums. The other gets repeated in universities, HR trainings, media, schools, and legal/social norms.

That is the difference.

Red pill is mostly descriptive understand female mate selection, stop assuming women love like men do, stop believing kindness creates attraction, and stop letting society guilt men for noticing patterns. You can disagree with it, but that isn’t the same as wanting women as second-class citizens.

Also, feminism has normalized plenty of broad hatred toward men: “men are trash,” “male tears,” “teach men not to rape,” “I choose the bear,” etc. When men object, it’s called venting, trauma, jokes, or punching up. But when men use group-level language about women, suddenly it’s radicalization.

Ssome red pill men hate women. Obviously. But “red pill is a bigger threat than feminism” is not convincing.

Extremists on both sides but the underpinnings of each are very different and radical equality is much better than a theocracy that craves sluts while actively shaming them.

Nah, that comparison only works if both sides have the same level of power and institutional backing. They do not. Extreme red pill views usually get condemned, banned, mocked, or pushed to the fringe. Extreme feminist takes, on the other hand, can get softened, defended, platformed, or treated as understandable by the mainstream.

So the severity argument is missing the power difference. A fringe guy online saying something crazy is bad, but it is not the same as ideas being repeated through media, schools, workplaces, HR language, and mainstream culture. Until red pill has that kind of institutional support, acting like both are in the same class does not make sense.

The issue is not denying that some men in those spaces say extreme things. They do. The issue is pretending that fringe manosphere extremism has the same social protection and reach as mainstream-approved anti-male framing.

People like to ignore elements of history that don’t align with the outcomes they want.

Look at many revolutions and the underlying social dynamics of them (the Arab spring, for example) and you will see enough disenfranchisement amongst men where it’s kinda obvious that would be the outcome.

Women don’t care about this though because a) those men are invisible to them and b) any form of appeasing them would be “oppression” by their standards.

Socially enforced monogamy was as good as we were gonna get in terms of a large scale regulating force on the market place. Now that that’s gone, the bifurcation of men and women’s needs will continue until men do what they always do. Take back the reigns in a less benevolent manner.

The worst of feminism is literally castrating men as children and segregating them to colonies where they would live like animals and should "earn" the right to make it to society. It goes waaay beyond taking away the right to vote my guy.

I'm not invovled in any of this, but this weekend I literally canceled a date because a woman was so hostile for no reason and I was legitimately confused why it scared the fuck out of me because i am at this point used to being the "resent and trauma punching bag" and especially by women who are bitter against men. It's literally been a thing in my family since childhood and then continually repeated in adulthood when I genuinely just wanted connection and to be accepted...

Nah, the groups you describe I avoid because the usually dehumanize me. They victim blamed me for being assaulted as well when I confided in the people who held those beliefs, they're not safe

The manosphere narrative pertaining to women's rights is so extreme, it's treated as fringe beliefs everywhere. They usually place themselves on the right side of the political spectrum, and given that the right has more women in leadership than the left ever had despite having less female participation (let that sink in for a moment), I don't think there is anyone with real measurable power who actually listens and treats them seriously. As a result, the only danger posed by these individuals is the damage they can inflict by themselves through corrupting minors and through violence - which obviously is a valid concern, however few of them are actually violent.

The extreme feminist narrative, while, well, extreme, is not recognized as such. Which I believe makes it incomparably more damaging. Extremism is most dangerous when it's hiding in plain sight, not called for what it is. Also, I don't think it's mostly men who are on the receiving end of that damage. It's women themselves.

For example, very few manosphere dudebros call for actual violence against women who disagree with them. "Punch TERFs" on the other hand is something you get to put on t-shirts and banners and yell out to your heart's desire.

The most “extreme” feminist cause is just women asking men to leave them alone, which is far better than men calling for women to become a lower class of sex slave or something.
