I always respected him as a comedian and an obvious ladies man but I never really realized how unabashedly red pill the man was until I watched this clip. If maintaining frame was a sport, Russell Brand would be Michael Jordan. This is a segment where Brand was coming on to discuss a talking tour he was doing, and the three interviewers were basically set to attack and belittle him. He knows this coming in and instantly and expertly turns the tables on ALL of them. A few takeaways from the clip (ignoring the politics, that's not the point of this clip):

  • The woman in the blue dress was obviously already into him, as a tall, fit, well dressed man. She opens the dialogue by shit testing him ("I'm told he's a big deal, but I don't know, I don't follow pop culture") to see if he'll respond... he doesn't. After he passes, she says he's welcome to take off his shirt and that he looks fantastic.

  • Russell is constantly establishing dominance over the other guy, whether playing the better man by telling him he's free to dress however he wants after the woman emasculated him (with the subtext that it won't matter a lick when Russell is in the room, because they want his shirt off) or by remorselessly interrupting him to talk about something irrelevant (the people behind them). Not to mention consistently and smoothly putting the guy back in his place every time the guy tries to insult him.

  • Russell shows how you can literally say almost anything you want as long as you maintain frame. He compliments her on her low-cut dress, casually mentions pornography, and points out how she's stroking her soda bottle while looking at him. Instead of being interpreted as mega creepy (like any beta would be for saying these things) she is fucking putty in his hands by the end of the clip. She can barely even finish the outtro because she's so wet.

  • No matter what the cohosts throw at him, no matter what they say or how they try to insult him or trip him up, he HOLDS FRAME, speaks confidently and clearly (even when he misspeaks and butchers a word, he doesn't stutter, apologize, or keep tripping up, he just corrects himself and keeps rolling) and by the end of the clip, he OWNS THE ROOM. He literally corrects their bad manners, points out how shitty they are at their jobs and then spends a few minutes DOING THEIR JOBS FOR THEM.

I would bet a paycheck that he nailed the lady in the blue dress after this recording.
