Shit, i remember that feeling vividly. When i was an older teenager, it was extremely uncomfortable when much younger girls (like 14 or 15) flirted with me. When too-young girls flirted with me, I remember thinking, "i need to get out of this situation before anyone sees me! People will think that im trying to get with girls who are way too young."

it does creep me out when minors try to hit on older men. I guess they don't understand the sort of risk that they place on those guys. But hey, they are just kids and really dont know any better. They just know what they want.

I dont see anything wrong with sleeping with younger asults, though. I slept with a 19 year old when i was 28 because she had a strict fetish for older guys. If that makes both of us creeps, so be it. The sex was off the wall ridiculous.

Yes, teachers and things go through specific training for handling female teen crushes, because they are quite intense and creepylike.

Reciprocating would be seen as more creepy because society thinks older people should know better and hold more responsibility.

It is not creepy to me that young women hit on older guys in the same way it is not creepy to me that men hit on women. Creepy is a personal feeling, you're entitled to your feeling/opinion.

Feeling creeped out? Just tell her she's being ridiculous and to knock it off. Same thing for women - don't like the attention tell them to go away.

I can't tell if this is a "why do men get called creepy and not women?" post or if you're honestly threatened by these chicks, you haven't made your point clear. if they're persistent despite rejection and not picking up on your social cues and making you feel uneasy and threatened then it's creepy. if they're just blushing and sending Facebook messages why not block them? that sounds annoying and cringey but not creepy.

If you're somebody in your mid twenties, and an underage girl hits on you, it would still be 'creepy' for you to respond and actually fuck her. Some underage girls are immature and naive little idiots, but you've the advantage of being older and hopefully more mature; the 'right' thing to do would be to politely reject her, and move on. Might be a good idea to do it over text or something to protect yourself, if she's the psychotic type.

Yea. It is uncomfortable, not socially acceptable and potentially puts the guy at risk of all sorts of backlash from society. I think it is seen as less threatening because a grown man is less likely to be physically threatened or overpowered by the average 14 year old girl but that doesn't mean it's not super uncomfortable for him or should be encouraged. And if the girl is very manipulative or crazy, she may very well have power/leverage over him which, while not phyiscally threatening, still means she can intimidate a man.

Luckily most cases are pretry “innocent“ of kids not knowing any better but still it seems weird that it is just laughed off. Now that I think about it we had male students in middle school giving “love letters“ to the “hot“ teacher and constantly trying to get her address and phone number. Some girls in 10th grade attempted to figure out some “cute“ male teacher's address and the least popular girl in class somehow infiltrated his (private and obscure) band which resulted in him leaving it because he felt it was inappropriate. All sounds majorly creepy in hindsight - wouldn't surprise me if the poor guy was checking his house for crazy 16 year olds...

No, I think the term 'creepy' should also include some amount of implicit threat of physical danger.

Unless the teenage girls were flirting with you while licking sharp kitchen knives I don't think it's 'creepy'.

Calling an awkward guy hitting on your and your friends at the bar a 'creep' is also incorrect.

Culturally, it is normal, I think. As long as they do not cross the line (like knocking on your door being fully naked and jumping on you"). That's how teens learn about their sexuality. Same for boys of that age, they often comment on how their friend's mom is hot etc. or trying to flirt with older women in general (I did this too).

It is definitely a problem as they lack concern for older guys professional and personal reputations and the over zealous nature of the law.

If you are a male, it is never creepy if they are hitting on you. At worst, it can be awkward if you have hit your stride and teenagers in their awkward stage are hitting on you, and you really have not interest in them.

I am 50 and teach high school kids. It gets rather uncomfortable when I get IOIs from female students, but that is just professional responsibility kicking in, not general morals.

It is definately NOT creepy to want to fuck a teenage girl. Whether or not you act on your impulses and opportunities might have some consequences that you should consider.

I have a sister who is 6 years younger than me, so when I was 22 she was 16 and she had various friends who took a liking to me. Thankfully, some of my bad choices never came back to bite me on the ass but, if you are playing the odds, don't mess with the neighbour's daughter until you are well away from that neighbourhood.

Ironically I'm getting the opposite to you, women in their late 20's seem interested in me (early 20's) for whatever reason. Can't figure out why.

And also yeah there is a double standard here. Said it may times, when I was 16 I went out with a 21 year old for a bit, everyone just joked about me being her toy boy, all fun and games no one really cared. But when I was 18 and going out with a 16 year old - merely two years age difference and all legal - suddenly I was creepy.

When I was in high school and played football, our team captain was my good friend and a rare fellow nerd. We spent a lot of time with each other's families, at each other's houses for whole weekends and such.
