And women raised the children that became those men. They worked together. They always have and they always will. We can't just take away one whole gender and then assume the machine will run exactly as well or (far more laughably) better.

Women are HALF of the population. And men are the other half. One gender didn't just decide to push the "go" button.

Women had to spend literally their entire lives pregnant just to make a population. If you don't have a population, you don't have a society. That doesn't mean I'm asking you to lick each woman's toes over it, though.

Even if men WERE somehow entirely responsible for the creation of civilization, how on earth does that magically entitle all men to sex? How does "the idea that no man is entitled to sex sound remotely ridiculous?

Lots of very questionable assumptions there. In society, and how society should work as well, various people have various resources. These resources can be their labor, skilled or unskilled, services, or material things. Two people may choose to exchange resources. This means that these two people, who own these resources, choose to exchange them in a knowing and willing bargin.

You do not get anything for what someone else has ( unless of course they give it to you). You personally get nothing for what another person did. Even if contributing to society means you are entitled to sex doesn't mean all men deserve sex.

Not talking about every man as a collective here, I am saying that the idea that no man is entitled to sex is ridiculous.

I'm not following. Are you saying that these highly productive men are entitled to sex? What about highly productive women? If I were to cure cancer, would I be entitled to marry a sexy 20 something year old man? Who in particular has to give homage to these people? Welfare recipients that only take to society? It just seems ridiculous to me.

As I said, you are only entitled to things promised to you. If I work for a year, I am entitled to a years pay. If I invent something great, I am entitled to the money that people will pay for it. I'm not entitled to sex from some women who never agreed to give me sex for my contribution to society.

The only time you are entitled to sex is when you gave money to a prostitute inn exchange for sex.

I have to disagree. Men are not entitled to sex at all. I've said this a few times, I'm the kind of person that believes that I need to earn everything I get. Men aren't entitled to sex, but I don't think any reasonable person is saying no man deserves sex. Come on, are you really going to tell me that the guy who works at being physically fit, who dresses well, studies his ass off to have a good career band builds a good career is equally as deserving as to a woman as someone who sat in his room playing video games his whole life because of what their forefathers did? come on.

In the real world, men have to earn sex, just like women have to earn commitment. Men are the ones who did all of those things, we all know what men are capable of at their best, and at the same time, we all know what men are capable of at their worst. What men are entitled to is fair consideration. Fair recognition of those two sides of humanity. THAT is what men are entitled to.

Men invented computers, phones, Ipad's, TV, surgery, penicillin, all kinds of things that allow us to advance into a modern society. Men created banks, they fought wars, hell, a group of men are the one's that created America, the greatest country in the entire world.

Why do the accomplishments of people who aren't you but who happen to share your gender make you entitled to anything. You didn't build society, you didn't invent anything, you never fought in a war, so why should you be entitled to anything?

"Men" are not otherwise "entitled" to sex from women. A particular man is not entitled to sex from any particular woman.

Just as "women" are not entitled to time, money, resource or attention from "men". Nor is a particular woman entitled to any of those things from any particular man.

One could argue, that men who did those great things are entitled to sex. But not all men. To be honest, I think 90% didn't invent anything and are just consumers or abusers of the system (like really rich dudes who just know how to make money or get that money for anything else other than inventing stuff).
