So alot of guys go for that.

It's ok but nothing to write home about.

Also alot of women think "feminine energy" is sitting online and talking alot of shit with the female herd, whining, complaining, "blah blah blah why are men like that."

And yes that IS feminine energy, but the negative kind, negative femininity is disrespectful, whiney and headache inducing, nobody want to deal with no henhouse, that's "drama" nobody wants that.

Positive feminine energy I fear is a lost art, along with positive male energy, it's that old timey tradcon stuff that nobody practice anymore cuz we are all offended now and nobody want to get an exercise bike for christmas, and nobody should be told to man up, and everybody's liberated from expectations and a perfect snowflake.

Actually, I had guys become far more clingy and willing to invest in our relationship when I would show "masculine" behavior (which I dont think is masculine or gender specific at all) - bantering/borderline insulting them, not talk about my feelings and instead implement this in my actions, lose myself in my hobbies/job to the point I sometimes neglect our relationship.

You forgot to take in consideration that most of the men today are feminine ( in West ), so they are looking for the opposite.

Let me put it this way, "Not like the other girls" exists for a reason.

A lot of what women think men like men don't actually like. Basically every study and anecdote has confirmed that. No dude has ever said "man she gave me THE LOOK then showed up with eyebrows on fleek and then I paid for dinner and it was like heaven". It's just most dudes are semen-blind and tolerate it.

A "masculine" woman who likes football and playstation and can joke with the boys and comes up with solutions from time to time is worth her weight in gold.

That's a good question '' What exactly is feminine behaviour '', because I don't know how to best answer it. It's got nothing to do with being kind and empathetic because a woman can be feminine and be a jerk at the same time.

I guess feminine would be any trait that if seen in a man would result in him being called a pussy so would only be acceptable in a woman. That's the best way I can I think of how to describe it.

It depends on the type of man you want to attract and the type of relationship you want to me in. IME, masculine men like feminine women. My husband openly admits that he loves doing things and having me admire him for it. I get some couples like to compete but that’s not for me or him. He wants to lift the thing or lead the way and have me follow and compliment him. He wants me to text him “I love you and here’s why...” multiple times a day. Which is great- because I want to do that and would be far less happy pretending I am not thinking about him. Ultimately, why fake who you are?

Well, my previous oneitus was a pretty Greek girl who behaved like one of my best friends and made me constantly laugh. I’d say there’s a limit to how masculine you can be before it becomes a liability, but personally speaking, I don’t feel attracted to clingy, ultra feminine submissive women who almost always place the burden on their partners when it comes to dating, and general social interaction and behave like ornaments for their partners. I actually like women who are assertive and have a rough and tumble personality, who’s willing to be adventurous. But there has to be a balance. IME, Men often go for docile, shy soft spoken women because it appeals to their 'provider' instinct. Men like to feel needed.

Not saying this is a right or wrong, but I think it's one element of attraction.
