IMO, it's women who are intelligent and have their shit together but are kinda plain. I'm not talking about ugly or deformed people; just not especially attractive. These women are too smart and mentally healthy to settle for a loser or abuser, but not pretty enough to attract a guy who has his act together. Most wisely decide that they're better off staying single than taking up with the kind of men who are available to them.

Also, the clingy ones who can’t play it cool in the beginning. They meet a guy and automatically start planning their wedding registry and want to introduce him to their parents instead of getting to know him gradually. Those types of girls spook a guy off.

Single mothers.

Women who don't know how to girlgame. (This might be the biggest factor, actually. Cause when I think of others who struggle - women in STEM, women who are very independent, women who are "masculine," the issue isn't any of these things so much as these women are too one-dimensional and suck at girlgame. I think this is why I, despite being all of the above (STEM, independent, masculine), have never struggled with men.)

Women with unattractive personalities (loud and annoying, rude).

Gay women in small towns.

Women who aren't discerning enough. This means they date losers, fuck men who sleep around as an attempt to start a relationship.

Edit: adding women who really, really have their shit together and are looking for the same in men. I'm talking about educated, intelligent, beautiful women who are fit, have their house in order, make good money, good group of friends, hobbies, etc. and will not "date down" in terms of education/intelligence/looks/fitness/cleanliness/etc. They want their match, and men who are their match are already shacked up.

IME it's not career girls but very intelligent women who have the most trouble. Despite the outcry on PPD as to how repulsive career girls are, most of the more assertive, masculine 'career girls' I know are in committed relationships. I think there's a niche of guys who are into that.

But I have a lot of really beautiful intelligent friends who are inexplicably always single. I think women have a lot of trouble feeling attraction toward a guy who's not as smart as them, so the smarter you are, the fewer options.

High achieving ordinary looking women struggle the most. They end up settling if they want kids or staying single. From what I have seen my high achieving high income earner friends who never married or who have been divorced a long time are the happiest. The ones who had kids with loser husbands less happy. High achieving high income earning women tend to be super Type A control freaks and those personality types tend to struggle with being dissatisfied with those around them as a baseline. The hot ones scored hot husbands usually guys they married right after college because that was where they met or they met early during their careers.

Then, a guy friend of mine met her (independent of me) and went on a few dates. Holy hell, hearing his stories opened my eyes. She was nuts

That is when I learned that if people struggle to find relationships, it’s most likely due to nothing more than themselves

I would have to black women. They're labelled the least attractive race of women and they disproportionately come from dysfunctional homes so mistakes will be made.

Women that do not understand their value. An inflated sense of self worth leaves them unappreciative of their superficial fit. It becomes impossible to have a relationship because of that. They will wander until desperation sets in, and by that time they need to get lucky.

I have nothing but my own experience here. I struggled to find a guy to stick around for years during uni (arguably prime dating time) because I was a big time SJW, very argumentative, generally hard to be around, and entitled. My boyfriend is the only person who stuck around and I had to make substantial changes to myself to keep him. Additionally, right before I met him I lost a long time close friend due to my behaviour which opened my eyes to how shitty I was being. It’s been over a year now, and while I’m still shitty sometimes, I am VERY greatful to my boyfriend for basically teaching me how to be likeable. Also, I’m still an SJW but now I keep it on the down low and focus more on being pleasant than being right. So imo the girls that struggle with guys are just the ones who aren’t personable.

Most definitely autistic women and those with other developmental disorders. Those types would have difficulty even attracting a man in the first place because of their bad social skills. Similar to them are the women with anxiety disorders. Then, you have those with personality disorders, who will attract men, or rather men will be attracted to them because they're a challenge. But the reality is that these women will have a revolving door of unstable relationships because they themselves are unstable.

And then, there's the cases of women who've been raped or molested, who might get a partner but then break up because the trauma has destroyed their sex drive.

Well I struggle and I’d love to know why. I’m an MD, financially successful, great successful kids, athletic, I’m told I’m attractive. Where do I learn this “girl game”? I love sex, I’m 53 and find that men my age are less interested in sex, sigh. I do like my alone time so maybe that is it? I don’t want to take care of someone. I’m chemistry driven so I don’t have a type, in fact I’ve been surprised by a few of the guys I’ve been in a relationship with, I wouldn’t have swiped right but loved their personality
