Grimes is such an easy target imo.

I am shocked at the hate Grimes gets from other women across all spectrums. Men hate her too.

And even though I want children and will do that some day, I see this fear she speaks so clearly about, the feeling of capitulation, giving up power. And it's not because of one bad sperm donor that is Elon, it's because the world (culturally) hates women, and they hate mothers even more. I, like her, do not see motherhood as eternally empowering or sunshine. I will strive to be a good mom, but I'm not under any illusion that our culture values mothers.

I dislike Elon Musk. I dislike their whole meetcute story. But I never once felt like Grimes was a pickme or a victim. She was raised by a mom who publicly blasts Elon for being a bad parent, bad human, not present for her daughter. She gives off a dumb fox vibe, but her persona is also her CAREER. She does not sit in a corner wondering why he is acting like this. She writes her bad male decisions into her music, capitalizes on it, and profit. Taylor Swift does the same. Taylor just has a wholesome vibe, not grungy.

As for the marriage thing- Ever since I became financially secure, I am also inclined to have a child without marriage, to protect myself. I could consider marriage if I meet a high earning man who is also high value, but if I meet someone low value like Elon, I will not marry him. Lol
