I think women are starting to show their lack of interest in men's bodies, more openly.

Men are also starting to show their lack of interest in women’s personalities. The sexes are not really compatible at this time in history.

It's hard to say what is driving attraction, despite what most people claim.

It could be the low T in males (currently males have 30-40% less T than their grandfathers did at the same age) and most traits that women are attracted to are affected by T.

It could be social media/internet causing hypergamy to spiral out of control.

It could be hormonal birth control affecting attraction (would explain the explosion of 'bisexuality' quite well).

It could be a result of feminism/MSM and a changing FSM.

All in all, tons of males are going to die alone (only cause they see it that way while women don't).

I agree that many men will die alone, but so will many women (as it always has been). One thing I'd note though is that nowadays women don't have as much pressure to get married, and it feels like women are more content with staying alone than ending up marrying a guy they don't like, whereas more men continuously try and it seems that men are ultimately more uncomfortable being, or dying, alone. (Plus, marriage isn't even always the goal).

I do agree with a significant number of women, especially young women's, sexuality being female leaning (you just gotta open the TikTok or Twitter apps), and I don't think it's a phase like some claim. A lot of it is genuinely just women loving each other, which is extremely wholesome to me. Do it for the girls and gays, as they say...

I always wonder at posts like these. What we should be talking about is how the value of women has gone up. Intelligence and independence is clearly an arms race that men and women have been playing forever, and unfortunately we tend to worry about what will happen to the men. The men will be fine. The men will need to evolve or pay the price. That's life. Sometimes people need to suck it up.

Men’s value is at a low but it doesn’t have to be that way, as with some self-improvement many men can become attractive to their appropriate attraction match. The problem is that there are not enough men choosing this route. Many young men make a perfunctory effort to attract women without doing much self-improvement and then give up and play videos games and watch a lot of porn.

Some men eventually do get their act together somewhat and do eventually improve themselves a bit, which can be seen by the male sexlessness rate going down as men get older. They become good enough to be a safe beta choice for women who do want to eventually settle down. Other men never get it, or perceive themselves as too disadvantaged to begin with so they just permanently stop trying.

But yeah, as the patriarchic systems forcing women to marry and not allowing them to be economically independent have mostly eroded, not just in the west but in non-western countries, the value of men has therefore dropped.

Women can still be attracted to the average man, but he needs to be willing to put in a different kind of work than in the past, when all male self-improvement involved was being able to put in enough hours to provide for his family.

It's not population, but technology being ridiculous power amplifier. This has started a long ago - a guy that can swing a club is above in the pecking order over a physically stronger but dumb guy.

It has accelerated on hockey stick trend ever since, recently stretching it to the most extreme, with GINI coefficients now surpassing anything in history. In the past, dominance hierarchies were significantly flatter, thus giving lesser men still some power, relatively speaking.

There's no easy fix, as definition of sexual instinct is predisposed on reproducing only powerful traits and purging the weak. It's merely a reflection of overall GINI coefficient being whack - too much has changed and too fast, way beyond anything humans can adapt towards in order to restore equilibrium, as far as our ancient gut feelings go that is.

It's not that women never found the majority of men attractive, it's that they never encountered near the number of men that they do in today's age because of online dating options. It keeps the hypergamous hamster running constantly and it gives women the illusion of a choice that they don't actually have. IMO, it's the massive media machine that says men are bad all day, every day.

Look, if women developed eating disorders because of beauty standards in magazines before the 80s, surely the media that continually trumpets the turpitude of men nudges the opinion of the average woman to view men with disfavour. (It also probably affects the self esteem of men, and how they see themselves.)

This is stupid, if there was 0 fat or obese women in America and all women all didn't mind being shared by the top 20% men you wouldn't think like this.

Decades ago when there was reputation, dignity, respect, and honor tied to sex/mating as women's fathers & mothers helped them choose their partner, virginity & chasity were praised instead of demonized, treated like an evil satanic thing not racking up a ton of partners for men & women, people seeing those with higher "n counts" as winning some sort of game.

You could argue thanks to the internet, dating apps, everything that people don't live in small communities anymore. In the past fucking with whoever was in your nearby convenience was meta, and then after people begin getting cars more @ younger ages whoever you took fancy & knew you could meet up with. After the internet begins becoming more and more popular in the year 2000, with all those messengers like AoL, yahoo messenger and EMAIL people begin flirting with eachother & seeking sex online more, eventually dating apps & craigslist looking for singles appear, the rest is history.

Combine this with the popularization of birth control, a fem centric society & ideas dominating all masculine ones, masculinity being seen as the devil. The rest is history dude, stop thinking you or millions of other western male are special or that men's value magically was eradicated. You're just a subject to circumstance, you're not special, neither i'm I, and all men have always died alone. Some are lucky enough to be surrounded by a great family & legacy they passed things onto, if they were intelligent in life great men & women they raised. Others not so much.
