I am so thankful as a work very close with a married HVM. He never came too close to me, never said anything inappropriate, never touched me, never did anything to disrespect his wife or make me uncomfortable. We have been working together in a room (just the two of us) for almost a year and altough we talk so much, it was always so professional. In my old workplace I worked with men who would make me feel soo uncomfortable (i dont want to be touched by basically strangers). Back then I talked with a co worker of mine and I still lived with my parents and he said smth like "Omg can't even jack off at home". Another married men there would ask me out and not even mention that he was married.

That's one of the only good things about the Covid pandemic. Not having to have any "excuse" for turning down unwanted hugs and touching from people (as if we needed one in the first place!).

One married guy from work was very into me tho I didn’t see it until my boss called it out.

Once he hugged me for a long time. Enough for another guy to look up from his cubicle and look at me like “Wtf is happening?” And I was just like damn he was right. It’s so uncomfortable.

My first job was at a movie theater and a guy who also worked there (I was 16, he was 17) was a foot taller and 100 pounds more than I was, backed me into a wall with his whole body and considered it a "hug". I got scared, and he laughed at me.

That was 10 years ago, I'd never let a boy get that close to me again without permission. If I knew what I knew now...so frustrating that there is so many times where I could have reasonably shoved someone away from me.
