You shouldn't have to ask or nag to get things done. A true partner will do things for you without you even realizing they need to be done and without expecting a reward, simply because they love you and want your life to be easier. I never realized how bad men were at this until I started dating women. I am constantly surprised by the things my partner has been doing for me without me realizing, only that my life runs smoothly now. Even the best of guys make a big deal of helping so they get rewarded with attention.

Interesting thing I've noticed: the same scrotes that complain about women being too needy, or women not really being independent because they asked a man once to open a jar? They really hate it when you legitimately like doing things for yourself and don't ask them for help. Deep down they are children who want a mommy to do everything for them, but they also want a woman who makes them feel "masculine" without expecting them to actually follow through on anything. It's so bizarre.

She never lied! I was talking to this guys and I asked him something about lamp wiring because he’s an electrician. He told me that it’s doable if you know what you’re doing, explained how I should to it and offered to do it if I was scared since it is electricity we’re talking about.

men on the street rush to help me carry heavy objects, say nice things to me (different from street harassment, obviously), and open doors. if a stranger wants to do those things, but the guy who supposedly loves you doesn’t want to help you, then what the heck is going on? just think about it for a second, really.

I have a storm door over my front door and some guys will stand on the porch watching me prop the storm door open with my foot or elbow while I wrangle my keys in the front door, while others hold the storm door open.
