Same.. got bullied by people years younger, shorter and cockier than me in final year of high school because they knew that if i retaliated in any way i was just letting them win.. also teacher refused to believe that a 6foot 5 200lb giant would get bullied by a 5 foot 2 110lb kid, until they went from tripping, abusive texts/socuial media stuff and name calling to actual life threatening violence.. one of them must have had a shitty day because one moment in was walking to get lunch and the next i was in the headmasters office an hour later explaing why i had just fractured 3 ribs and knocked out the younger guy.

From CCTV and people who were there.. the guy had looped the straps of his schoolbag around my neck and tripped me at the same time.. and i had gotten up and haymakered him in the chest sending him 5ft backwards.. and then i collapsed.

I had a bruised larynx (spelling?) and was very lucky it wasnt crushed.. a head wound and no memory of putting a kid in the hospital for a week. Needless to say i was never bullied by them ever again and very lucky i was under 18 and wasn't arrested.

I genuinely feel bad for the guy.. his life must have been crushingly horrible that bullying someone older and less-stable than him was his way out.. and that instead of dealing with whatever shit he was doing.. he thought that choking me out so he could write over my face in perm marker and destroy my school work was a good idea. (as that was the plan all along) He didnt count on the guy not fighting back wasnt because he was weak, but because he knew what damage he could do both to himself and others. My life would have been over if I wasn't barely conscious..

All the middle Eastern guys I went to school with were really fucking good fighters, and super hot blooded and easy to anger.

One of my good friends was a Turkish dude, and he was the best guy to have around because he was always down to fight on your behalf. Though I pissed him off a few times and he'd knock me upside the head pretty hard lol. Otherwise a really nice guy.

Once I sold an ounce of weed to some guy at the skatepark, and he snatched it and ran off without paying (rookie mistake on my part). I told my friend about it, and the next day after school he handed it to me. Apparently he went to where the guy was hanging out and threatened him with a meat cleaver, and ended up getting it back for me.

For some people overseas, getting into the US (legally or illegally) is much more difficult than just walking in from Canada or Mexico (legally or illegally).

Both are foreign but for some "over seas" people their life is as bad or worse than the worst part of Mexico but they practically have no choice but to enter the united states legally because the risk of failure trying to do it illegally (not necessarily the risk of death) is much higher than for people who have the possibility of just walking across a land border.

If you enter legally with the expectation that your stay is temporary and then you overstay your welcome, the authorities at least have a few documented facts about you to use as clues to find you and deport you and ban you from the country for a decade. But if you simply waltz in unannounced, you're a ghost, no proof you exist.

my goodness. If you think knowing more than the average psychiatrist or psychologist is some outrageous feat then you are beyond hopeless.

You're right though, despite growing up with autism and schizophrenia and bipolar I know absolutely jack shit about any of it. I need to go find an average and neurotypical psychiatrist who has a wealth of ill configured knowledge that they built by reading and regurgitating information that is always at least 10 years out of date and operates from the underlying faulty, bigoted, and self-deluded assumption that human intelligence revolves around neurotypicality.

You sound like someone who has no experience whatsoever with psychiatry. Based on your reaction you would've thought that I said that I can perform brain surgery better than the average brain surgeon. THAT, my friend, would've been iamverysmart delusion. What I said was mild self-confidence, if even that. Psychology is NOT a hard science. It is a political movement. You are not going to find many people who have at least an average IQ + mental illnesses who aren't going to also tell you that they know more about psychiatry than the AVERAGE psychologist or psychiatrist. This is because they have experience going to lots of different psychiatrists and being told a bunch of wrong and unscientific garbage and being prescribed terrible medicines over and over.

Though I know the standard bigoted and self-deluded neurotypical response to that is to just say that the people have mental illnesses and therefore are automatically defective and don't know what the fuck they're talking about because of that. Oh well.

Drug addicts can get help in so many ways, for free, from many places.

Food addiction is much, much harder to beat, you don't have to do drugs, not very many drugs kill you from withdrawals, you don't get life long incurable damage from the vast majority of drugs, you don't wake up everyday feeling empty without drugs, you don't make everyone think less of you for taking drugs.

Look at fucking america dude, 60% of the united states has a food addiction, not even the worst countries have that many drug addicts, drugs aren't sold to you on every corner for cheap, drugs aren't a very big social thing, people don't bring you drugs for free, you don't walk into the drug store and see every type of drug imaginable and purchasable.

You think of Heroin and meth and apply that to all drug addicts, you don't think of 60% of americans who wake up every day and eat 3500 calories and do irreversible damage to their joints and heart and pancreas and liver and kidneys and their veins.

21% of of kids 12-19 are not on drugs.

More people in America have a food addiction than a smoking addiction.

drugs aren't cheap

Drugs don't always make you feel good no matter how bad your day is, not even 5% of Americans have a bad day at work and come home and pop Xanax, but a shit ton come home and binge eat to feel better.

And what the fuck are you on about with people selling their house to afford drugs, do you have any idea how sparsely that happens?

And this is coming from someone that got addicted to Hydros after having their wisdom teeth out, I spent over 900 on them which is around 250 pills where I lived at the time, this is coming from someone from a family of alcoholics, that's binge drinked himself into a blackout alone far too many times.

Someone linked to this thread in a repost yesterday, and I clicked the link and forgot I was in an old thread, hence my reply 20 days late.

Yes I agree food addiction is much more wide spread and much more likely to happen to someone, since food is necessary and everybody's gotta eat, not everyone has to shoot heroin. I actually find alcohol the hardest to stay away from now for this reason.

But I'm not trying to say the food addiction epidemic isn't as bad as the drug addiction epidemic, I'm talking from an individual perspective, hard opiates and a few other drugs are way harder on you. With a food addiction you'll likely still make it to 50+, 60% of people who ever try heroin die within 10 years from it. Nobody gets into heroin and continues on with their life, within months you're gonna be homeless, jobless, etc. I'm saying this as someone who used to be in that situation and watched at least 2 dozen people die around me.

Drugs don't always make you feel good no matter how bad your day is

Huh? It's impossible to not feel good when you have 400-1200% of your baseline dopamine surging through your blood, eating food is like 150% last I checked, and sex is 200%. Shooting powerful drugs is hacking your brain in a way that isn't possible with standard behaviors like eating and sex.

So yes, I know food addiction is more of a problem in terms of how many it's affecting, but if we're gonna compare which is more severe on an individual level drugs win without a doubt. And drugs do irreversible damage a lot faster than food does. It's easy to fuck your heart and collapse all your veins in less than a year doing drugs, and that's being generous, it can happen with a few uses.

And with the lady in this video, we're obviously talking about hard drugs, not just someone who smoked too much weed or drinks and does coke every weekend.

The most vocal of any group of people are always trash. You can't judge a whole group of people by its extremists.

The american media seems to lean pretty Left\feminist. What about that? Can I judge them now that they're dominating most mainstream media platforms?

Letting women enter or judging their qualifications the same as man is what feminists want.

The problem is that 99% of people who self identify as a feminist in 2018 DONT think or act like that AT ALL. And that's the message that comes accross.

Plus, I'm tellin ya, women really wouldnt like being valued by their qualifications the same way men are. Trust me on this.

If a women wants to work in sewers, awesome, let her. Don't force anyone into a position.

Again, this is all very pretty in writing and in theory, but this ISNT the message that's reaching the public.

You tell me the difference between between those since you think women should be egalitarian instead.

"pussy pass denied"

Women get away with a LOT more shit than men do, solely due to the fact that they are women. It's not wrong to point out when this "pussy pass" is indeed denied to them. Especially when they're confused that their entitlement to this pass isnt granted. "You cant hit me, I'm a woman!" for example.

"no boobs here"

Similarly to the "pussy pass" concept, many women will post pictures of their boobs online (which is fine by itself), but then they try to bullshit people to their face and pretend like they're NOT trying to show off their boobs. And people belive them. Just because they're women. If a man tried doing the exact same thing, 1) he wouldnt have even 1% as much success, and 2) he would get called out fucking IMMEDIATELY.

Further, if you'd ACTUALLY done your research, you'd know that /r/NoBoobsHere also posts men doing this (as it should). And the sub's sidebar doesnt discriminate between men and women. If you have any images of men doing the same thing, feel free to post to the sub, OR send me the pics and I'll upload them

Finally,

If you believed in TRUE equality, you'd believe in women having the same responsibility and consequences for their actions.. I am doing exactly that. I treat women EXACTLY the same as I'd treat men. Women dont seem to like being treated like men, though. Imagine that.
