I read the thread you posted in, in dating over 40. It didn't really seem like you got swarmed by angry menopausal women. Honestly bro... that attitude will hold you back. Women aren't all evil, there's just as many good honest hurt women who have been screwed over by dudes. I get it though, not here to judge. Maybe it's not time to date again yet? I had these same opinions in the first year or two after my separation. Looking back, I realize I just wasn't ready yet. Maybe just go out there and score a few times and don't worry about finding a relationship yet. Just my 2c. Either way, you got this!

Like the previous guy, sounds like you have unrealistic expectations in your quest for dating. Dating after divorce should be just looking for a friend to do something with. Leading with sex and attraction will probably get you nowhere. Lead with friendship and see what develops. Keep your expectations real and enjoy the process of dating. It's a numbers game. Dating these days is tough. I have now mastered the apps. Really good pictures and you have to pay. Its not easy. I started dating after 10 years starting 2021. Its easy to get laid but to find quality women, damn pretty hard. Man they aren’t that complicated but explaining it can be. Just be yourself but remember women like to feel wanted but not smothered. It’s a balance. I don’t think I’ve ever sent a good morning text to a woman after a first or second date. I don’t like texting though so maybe I’m different.

Set up dates with all 3. One will bail and it won’t bother you and she gets moved to the back burner but leave the door open. Same with 2 and 3. It’s called spinning plates. They don’t care you are spinning plates they are doing the same. They hate needy simp shit like texting all day.

Never bring up exclusivity. Go on dates that you would go with or without them and have fun. You’ll be more charming and have a better vibe if the date is something you like. Don’t talk about your ex wife or kids on first date. Come up with a good answer to prying questions that will kill the vibe.

Nowadays we make out hot and heavy on the second date. Maybe wait 4 dates if you’re some type of community leader lol. Keep in mind she’s probably got 4 simps on her nuts so do not take it personally if date gets cancelled or she’s just not that into you.

It all depends but I try and let them do most of the talking, there should be some give and take after a few dates. Personally, I want to give some indication they have some genuine desire for me (a check in text, nice message, etc.) or else too much texting to them kills the desire for them.

No one size fits all man, I will tell you it seems that age group these days are incredibly flaky. It's frustrating but don't take it personal.
