This is why marriage is worthless in 2024. You can go all in and when she breaks her vows, society (not just her) will paint you as a villain. All of those people participating in the celebration are accomplices to the destruction of a family. This would not have been celebrated 80 years ago. Society has changed.

There is this really toxic pattern that I am seeing among husband to wife/ mom instagram accounts. They are all doing the same thing just so they can get like and sell the same “how I released my resentment” webinar. They are all based on how the wife is at home, doing all the cooking, cleaning, and child care, while the man is sitting on the couch drinking a beer, or out golfing, or sitting in bed frustrated because his wife it too tired to have sex with him. This makes so many women feel like they have to use this false message in order to justify why their marriage failed. Everyone knows they are fake, shallow, and lack any real meaning, but they’ll go along with it because no one will publicly challenge the women to her face. I wouldn’t. That all to say, let her live her fantasy so she can live another day without having to take any accountability for herself. It’s only “cool” for a minute until the real world sets in and they realize they truly have no value. Then they start selling Mary Kay or find another way to get attention without doing any real work. Am I venting now? Lol

LOL.....I have a fun story similar to this.

The day my first divorce was finalized, my ex and her toxic friend brought wine and crystal glasses TO COURT, and popped the champagne one the sidewalk in front of the court.....at 10am. All of the pictures were posted to social media. After being informed by as passing cop that they could be arrested for drinking in public, they continued the party at the friends house. At 3pm that same day, my ex decides to go home......and got arrested for DUI. She was more than double the legal limit.
