I accidentally ended up on a thirst trap rabbit hole on IG the other and it blew my mind in two ways.

It’s disgusting. Also, from personal experience between myself and my friends, if they’re liking and commenting on pics, they’re most likely in the DMs too. If you confront them on it, they’ll just call you crazy, and say they’re being “friendly” that’s what social media is. (Don’t worry, I no longer let this stuff slide).

I try to keep my social media very family friendly, and post mainly work accomplishments, travel, and sport completions I’m in. I had a huge fight with a boyfriend over this. I saw that he was following women who posted thirst traps, but they were private accounts so they must not have shown up on his feed but he must have actively sought them. One of them lives in his condo.

While we were fighting about it, he defended himself by saying he didn't message them at all, I asked one of the women and he sent me screenshots of my boyfriend reacting with hearts to her IG stories and highlights.

He also added again a woman on FB that he had unfriended before when I found out that he was also liking her thirst traps. Then proceeded to like her photos and thirst trap Tiktok videos.

We're no longer together but this wasn't what cut it. This just made me realize that he was not worth it.

I was shocked at the IG of the last guy I dated. Like it was 15% sex workers. He was an architect and this was visible to his clients!

He ended up being a serial cheater. He cheated on his last girlfriend throughout the whole ten year relationship. When I found out about this and found out he was still “talking” with one of the women he cheated on her with, I lost it.

He claimed he was a sex addict due to porn and he started doing therapy. I wasn’t able to trust him though because of other white lies. I broke up with him.
