I saw an ad from the company "awkward essentials" about a product designed to cleanup his seed from your lady parts after sex. Its called the drip stick.. The product was being marketed in a way showing that now there won't be a drippy mess in the bed, ruin your underwear or have to use rolls of toliet paper hunched over a toliet.

In the specific ad I saw, it said "you get busy, your partner (the male) finishes, you (the woman) get a quick cleanup without using half a roll of toliet paper, cuddle time without the wet sheets"

The man of course gets to finish. He gets to raw dog in you, which is very risky in itself. Then immediately they talk about cleaning up and of course it's made to sound like that all falls as a woman's responsibility. A woman just let him not only have sex but nut raw... and now if that wasn't enough... how dare she get his sheets wet from his own seed, how dare she use So MuCh toliet paper cleaning up his seed, how dare she "drip" or ruin her panties (the panty comment made it seem like how dare she ruin her sexy panties that were his his viewing pleasure)

The other distaste it left me with was the mention of mess free cuddling... this goes hand in hand with the comment that he finished and further implies he was selfish in bed and she got no pleasure, hence the cuddling, she's still in the mood and unsatisfied.

The ad of course was being targeted specifically to women and I really think the idea of the product itself is practical and useful but I think that if this is something she wants to use, he should be buying it for her! It should be advised to MEN because it is to cleanup HIS seed after all! Women are expected to just be like sex objects ready to be available any time for sex, always having to he clean and "ready" at any moment for HIS pleasure - that's the nature of their ad, further promoting misogyny.

Also it is $25 plus shipping for a 20 pack. Women already are the ones buying birth control, making dr appointments for annual checkups at the gyno, paying copays for some birth control, and then having to the the responsible ones to keep it up to date /take it at the same time of day, etc. I won't let anyone raw me anyways imagine the audacity like how dare you get his sheets wet or drip. I'm appalled at how this was advertised. Its also sending this misogynyic message to younger women furthering this toxic notion we need to be ready for him

I'll see if I can post a link to the pic of the ad
