Haha, when I moved in with my now fiance (pre-FDS, don't roast me), all of his pillows were like sheets of paper. I showed him the true need of having nice, memory foam pillows, and now there's no going back 😂

I have “good” pillows just for show or my partner but for sleeping I like the old flat ones (as long as they’re not lumpy obviously). I put them under the regular pillows and it’s barely raised lol

I need at least two backup pillows to rotate so flatness doesn’t happen.

Every other year or so I insist mine get a new pillow and give the old ones to the pets. Don’t even ask what the first one he had look like.

Even the ones with 'clean' beds never use gorgeous smelling or luxury detergent. So yeah, the sheets are technically washed and clean, but you never get that sense of indulgence when slipping into freshly changed sheets. There's always something so starchily... functional about them.

Haha yupp their mom bought it for them 20 years ago and they never replaced it. Same goes for ladies with our passed down TVs.
