Have you ever seen "The Heat" with Melissa McCarthy and Sandra Bullock? It's hilarious and and a great movie to watch when you're not happy with men. I loved Birds of Prey, too, but The Heat is funnier, IMHO

This happened to me but I was the girl on the date. He then had the nerve to tell me that he only dates one woman at a time. I guess he meant literally not at the same time. You're not missing out on anything good, believe me.

Ok so this is a serious question (I have read the handbook but perhaps I've missed this), but if we should be dating multiple men to vet (and not catch feelings) does the same logic not apply to them either?

I'm confused but open to a discussion about this.

Please never speak to him again. Even if he technically did nothing wrong I don’t care because he DID do something wrong. He made you feel like this. He absolutely sucks because of how he made you feel and he does not deserve to ever hear from you again. I hope you block/delete so you can move on as fast as possible.

So when I was younger, this guy approached me and we exchanged numbers. I was really stupid btw. He would message me and say he was gonna come over and i would be like “how about an actual date?” And he would say sure and then just stop replying at all. Then he would message me again and I’d actually reply. This went on for a few months until I walked into Denny’s with my entire friend group and he was eating with another girl and he literally slid under the table when I came in. How she didn’t get suspicious when he was just resting his chin on the table I’ll never know.

Happened to me once. It was weird afterwards because one of my best girl friends was also dating his roommate! I blocked him and never went over that house again but it was always kind of weird seeing him at a bar or something when I was out with my friend.

We need context here. Were you two official already or not? Since it is advised for women to date multiple people until they've settled, how would this be different?

To clear up what I am trying to say - forget the loser and move on. But I don't date multiple people at the same time myself either. It's too exhausting and if you vet correctly you don't need to date multiple people in my experience.

Do some online shopping or you can even use Pinterest and pin some travel stuffs, your dream destinations or artsy stuffs. Engage your mind with positive productive things. I hope you'll feel better.
