This shows you how men’s minds work. As an almost 30 year old man what do you have in common with a teenager? Right. It’s not the girl it’s the position of power. When I was in my very early 20s, my LVX (50) went after another young girl shortly after me. So she was “special, mature, different than the others” too I guess? Pfft.

Like let's look at their main defences

- age does not matter, anyone who is a slightly older age can see it does. Im billies age and can see that yes it does matter I would never date someone who was recently 17.

- She is mature, Olivia is talented successful and inspiring but she is not mature and she does not have to be, she will shine much brighter as she grows into her own and when she reaches 24 I can't imagine she would feel the same as she does now.

- She looks mature. She does not if anything she looks a bit younger than her age around 16. She has a whole high school centred album with very teenage leaning themes.

Overall this 24 year old is a creep I bet I'll think he's an even bigger creep when Im his age.

I’ve been seeing a lot of comments on Twitter defending this shit it’s exhausting but we gotta look at some points here. Sorry in advance, I have a lot of opinions on this and so this may get lengthy.

Firstly this is not Billies first age gap relationship, having one with a 20+ year old. In her documentary he is literally at attendance at her 17th birthday. He has anger issues and used her to get free coachella tickets among other things. Now she’s dating an almost 30 year old dude (with a history of making weird and violent remarks about women lol) and some people may say ‘well I’m sure she’s mature enough’, how can you be mature when you’re on tiktok getting upset by someone saying you’re in your flop era and responding saying you have bigger boobs than them…okay….

Olivias album literally shows immature teenage views of men, love, relationships and self esteem. As it should because she is a teenager who doesn’t have the life experience outside of school to know what real relationships are. A lot of the songs on her album reflect this men pleasing narrative we’re sold at a younger age and have to unlearn when we’re older.

Millie was literally 16 when she dated this guy who was what 20 at the time, moved in with him for 8 months. Now he’s on Instagram live talking (more like bragging) about how he groomed a child and also talking about her sexually by saying such comments like ‘that child can suck d*ck’ (may not be the actual quote but it is certainly along the lines). Do men even hear themselves?? probably not bc the sound of their dick throbbing probably clogs their ears.

Also interesting to note that Drake privately had been texting both Billie and Millie… fucking weird.

Now I wanna start by saying why are their parents, team, friends, family not protecting them? As a parent how can you even stand by and allow that for your teenage child? I wouldn’t even allow it for my sisters. And it’s exhausting reading Twitter comment after comment going ‘well women mature faster than men’. Yeah bc we’ve been groomed and harassed and humiliated and sexualised our entire lives!!! That maturity comes from trauma!!! And the ‘older men have their shit together’ narrative. Like fuck they do! Why do I know men in their 30’s who can’t cook, clean, let alone wipe their ass properly. And also as a 24 year old I am not looking at 16-19 year olds going damn I wanna smash that, I look at them and think they’re still children??

Fighting this predatory bullshit is like an endless battle and it’s disheartening to see so many women believe there is nothing wrong with this or even acknowledging the power dynamic at the very least. I hate that modern libfem has gotten us to this point where well known girls are with gross predators and no one bats an eye.

This is so gross. I developed young and started getting attention from grown men as a 12-13 year old. My parents wouldn't let me date anyone luckily, though I was boy crazy. I still remember being 18 and working as hostess at a restaurant where I had huge crushes on the older bartenders and waiters who were in their 20s. "Bless them" for being "good guys". They used to tease me by saying things like "when I was in school learning fractions, you were a fetus!" It made me mad, but I now even more respect them for setting boundaries and not being predators to the younger staff. This was not the case in other work situations. It shouldn't be such a low bar.

They need to take responsibility & realise older men are just older manipulators. A lot of time’s their mothers / fathers / friends have warned them.

A lot of young girls get too flattered by older men’s attention. Really the guy just has more money/ years of life on you to manipulate you better.

Older men very much enjoying having the upper hand on a young working class woman too. They know she’ll become financially dependent on him.

Do not date a guy more than 1-3 years older max when young. Besides why waste your youth on these crusty scrotes? Just making their ego sky high & they’re unlikely to take you seriously. Definitely do not get baby trapped by them at 18 cos you will regret it & end up on the breakingmoms sub when his mask drops.

Go get you a nice age appropriate fit young guy. Some of these older guys are 50x more manipulative than the younger ones.

When I was 18 I dated someone who was 26 and worked as an aide in the Irish equivalent of parliament or congress. What the hell was he doing? It's so predatory in hindsight. I thought he was the greatest thing ever and I was lucky he was "dating" me back then. So naïve.
