Similar thing happened with me a couple weeks ago. Went on a great date with a guy I thought was kinda interesting but he ghosted me a day later while texting, never heard from him again. Whatever, his loss right? If he comes back I'll do exactly the same.

They find someone else who may be more of a pickme and they think will put out. When that doesn’t pan out, they cycle back around to try to get to you again. Happens to me constantly. So many numbers pop up on my phone, and I have. I clue who they are. Once you exit my life, it’s a locked door.

I don't even reply to them. I think it's funny when they treated you like shit and they send a wave of apologies and you don't reply and they just keep texting. Especially when they start alternating between kissing your ass and insulting you. Really shows their true colours.

This, this, this. After a super painful process of removing a ‘friend’ who’d gone full groomer-niceguy on me from my life, he asked me at the end if I would want to try talking again in a few weeks. I retaliated by asking him if he’d give his sister the same advice in this situation, and if he thought I’d feel less betrayed in a few weeks. He admitted to no on both, and we ended talking permanently at the end of that talk.

Yeah, no, he texted me after new year’s again. A lame opener about new year’s wishes and what not. I didn’t reply.

Lol, I’ve had a few scenarios like this - one sticks out in particular.

I was 18 and casually “dating” this guy, tried to get more commitment from him and he wasn’t budging. So I basically gave up on it. Started my first year of uni, and met a great guy that I ended up having a ltr with. The other guy kept messaging me on facebook just casually checking in even when I told him we were done and I found someone else. It was so satisfying to see him basically crumple up that he lost his opportunity after I had tried with him 👋👋👋. At a certain point they get desperate.

Finally blocked my ex so he can’t do this to me anymore. Would say whatever he had to to get me to sleep with him, then acted like a massive dick after, ghosting me, gaslighting etc. Finally blocked his number so I can’t let it happen anymore. Love the support from this group for making that easier on me.

Yes! I had been talking to a guy from tinder for a couple weeks, but he was more interested in trading nudes (eww) than even hooking up. I entertained the idea of a fling, but then he just randomly ghosted me. After 2 weeks he comes back acting like nothing happened. I didn't respond, then he goes "you don't wanna talk anymore?" which I also ignored.

About a month later, I was looking for someone on my whats app contacts and I noticed his picture was gone, lol. He had blocked or/and deleted me! Good riddance.

Do you want to hear some low-down dirty shit? My ex from 15 years ago found me on Facebook and contacted me through messenger. The last time I spoke with him, I was walking out on him after I found out his pathetic ass was cheating on me.

The message was innocent enough, just a general hello, and I was not in a full-blown FDS mindset so I replied hello.

He apologized for his behavior and I told him whatever, it was a long time ago. I asked him how he was doing, and he said he is getting married in a few weeks. When I met him, he was newly divorced from his first wife, and three months after I left him he ended up marrying the girl he was cheating on me with. He’s explaining to me that he divorced last year, and now he’s working on number 3.

I ended the conversation pretty shortly after he told me this, and told him to take care, good luck, etc.

The next day he sends me a random message about how he thinks about the sex we used to have, how good it was, and wished he could have another opportunity to have sex with me.

I told him maybe he should save himself for the woman he’s going to marry in literally two weeks? He kept pushing until I flat-out said in no way would we ever have sex again. Until I told him directly no, he kept pushing, even suggesting that he would fly halfway across the country and stay with me for a few days. Ugh. In haven’t heard from his pathetic ass since then.

God, I feel so sorry for his wife.

Update: for curiosity’s sake I checked his FB profile. He ended up getting married to that poor woman a year and a half ago. Then 4 months after that he updated his relationship status with a new woman who he bills as “the love of his life.” Sure, buddy 🙄

I have one fuckboy from 2012 who still tries to DM me. Casually dated for about 4 months until I realized that the only time he ever wanted to see me was when he was horny, hungry, or needed a ride. in my Pickmeisha phase this one guy was using me for sex (i was hoping he would eventually commit but he wasn't into "labeling things"). eventually i decided "i'm just not gonna bother messaging this person anymore. if he cares he will contact me himself." about two months passed with no word from him. Then one day he randomly texts me to lament about his most recent date being shitty like i'm his shoulder to cry on? was super weird. so called him a liar and sent him a huge screed never to hear from him again. he's married now to some other Pickmeisha he was seeing when he was using me. glad i didn't settle on that shit.

I only recently started deleting numbers/convos when I could tell they were going nowhere and I actually felt bad when I got a "Hey how was your week?" text and had to send a "Who is this?" They didn't reply and I was like oh no I hurt someone's feelings. But then I found FDS and now I think they're hilarious 😂
