After OVERWHELMING feedback from the polyamory community regarding this post, both in modmail and on other subreddits, we have decided to update our official FDS policy on polyamory.

Special thanks to the poly community for so graciously educating us about the nuances of your sex lives, it really helped us see the errors in our thinking. After a lengthy discussion amongst our moderators, we decided to update our policy to be more inclusive and open minded!

Ultimately, the objective of Female Dating Strategy is maximizing female benefit. Therefore, we acknowledge that there is one type of polyamorous relationship that aligns with our values:

One woman at the center, with a rotation of men who buy her things and do manual labor for her and serve her champagne and grapes while she relaxes on a chaise lounge.

FYI, this is my kink, therefore this post is immune from criticism. If you disagree, that is literal violence.

I was in love with a poly woman once. (I’m bi, by the way. She’s a lesbian.) She had an incredible way of making me feel loved and seen whenever we were physically together, though at the time I was being “consciously single.” (Aka, I was supposed to be taking a break from dating to focus on myself, but I was sleeping around instead.)

I thought it was an okay set up for me at the time because I purposefully didn’t want to be in a committed relationship and I was enjoying sleeping around with multiple regular fwbs without the pressure of considering our futures together, but she seemed to actively want me as a girlfriend; it actually ended messing with my head that her attention would wax and wane with the explanation that sometimes that’s just how it goes with poly people.

Anyway, in retrospect it seems sociopathic that she could treat me like a partner one day and the next she was “reserving her energy” so she could be a good partner to someone else. 0/10 would not sign up for that type of uncertainty again.
