Is this just an online forum kind of thing or is this just real?

I mean I noticed online every little thing is creepy, gross, misogynist. Ask for advice, creepy. You don't have this figured out yet? Wow that's creepy!

One time in college, well trade school kinda deal, we were taking apart a motor housing to replace the bearings on it. This was all men, and I'm very shy and awkward (creepy right!) Well the instructor wanted to see me do some work and to be honest I didn't even know how to turn a wrench at the time or anything. The guys kind of made fun of me, and said things like "clearly he don't do much screwing in his life". This is clearly a "haha he doesn't get sex" joke.

I mean now I literally turn a wrench and screw things all day at work. But you get the deal.

And I mean hey, I don't screw women so I pretended to not be offended. But it did kinda bother me. I'm sure they were just joking but still.

My freinds are way worse btw.

They absolutely shame me for never kissing a girl, laughing at me, every little thing to them is an immature joke. They have the worst personalities on the planet.

Yet, women love em. Women constantly blow up their phones non stop. They rub it in my face.

Women send them nudes, they rub it in my face. Telling me I'll never know what it's like.

To make this discussion neutral, which it is, I mean I'm blaming both men and women here lol these dudes are terrible, but girls aren't much better.

Recently, and reddit was extremely harsh, but I got a girl I had a crush on a valentines day thing. Thing is, she had the same idea as me she got one too, for another girl.

The other girl was married and threw it away right in front of her. So she threw mine away to get back at.. me? For doing nothing lol.

OK she's a lesbian. Reddit freaked out on me "women don't owe you this!"

And "women don't owe you that!"

Like a chant or something.

Women irl at work, yes this was at work. Also don't pull the "uhm don't date women at work sooo creepy!!!"

I've had freinds who were women, who said this to me at jobs I had, then they went and had hook up sex with the hot new guy. They break their own rules when he's hot enough. They'd even tell me, "omg I had a ONS with him last weekend!"

Anyway, I actually kind of felt bad for the lesbian girl I tried to date. Because I have empathy, I understand what it's like to be rejected, and I can see why she is upset and threw my little gift away in response to the other girl throwing hers away. Thing is, I'm fine with rejection. I've never had a woman say yes to me. I've only faced rejection. So... yeah, she could of simply Said "hey I'm flattered, but I'm gay, so no thanks" and I would of told her that's fine, we can just be freinds, as we were already talking and exchanged numbers and all that lol. I had no idea she was gay. I was complimenting her all the time and she never acted like it was an issue. She would giggle and everything.

She even told me she's glad that I talk to her.

But the women of reddit had much darker ideas.

"You're a creep, that's so creepy! Nobody owes you anything!"

When you argue back, you're the problem, you're just not taking advice.

So much hostility on here.... is this real life? Or is this strictly an online extremist discourse type of deal?

It's really worrying me and I'm thinking of just giving up entirely lol.

This sub, the dating advice ones, the hook ups and sex subs all the people seem to have this weird mentality that anyone who is struggling is entirely at first. Like some real toxic rugged individualism stuff.
