Even if it has some helpful points, the fundamental basis is to treat women as almost a different species from men, not fully human in comparison to men. There are plenty of euphemisms for this but it is what is preached.

It’s easy to become “popular” and manipulate anybody when you see them as an NPC. (Edit: but by reducing others to this, and being detached, you ironically can never enjoy the popularity. It is contingent on your not feeling and appreciating it.)

It advocates using women which I disagree with.

It’s odd that you present inceldom as the only alternative to TRP. Plenty of men gain confidence, lift, have healthy masculinity, and find women they like, without taking on crackpot theories.

I mean, a few things. It's a magnet for people ripe to be radicalized, a lot of the individuals on there preach absolutely reprehensible things, their self improvement advice is fairly useless for anyone with an iota of sense, lack of an ethical compass which is often used to shut down any push back against those who abuse that little loophole, the fake science and blatant misinformation that gets posted, the fact that almost every field report is a straight up lie, the fact that some influential members of the community try to monetize it, etc.

The most salient issue for me really is that it is a method of radicalization that is a gateway to alt-right ideology for some, and the fact is that the main demographic is vulnerable men who feel slighted, whether rightly so or not.

Edit: Also worth noting but I find the way people view mental illness on that sub as absolutely worthy of complete and utter disgust. Their views on autism and depression in particular are insulting to those that suffer from the very real issues that both those things cause.

I'm assuming you're specifically referring to the Reddit sub.

I have several issues with it but one of the more grating aspects for me is just how cringy it gets. Men who command respect and authority irl have a certain "it" factor. It's a kind of presence that doesn't necessarily translate well to online bodies of text, yet men will often try it anyway. So you see these guys (particularly mods and EC's) trying to flex and one up each other by conveying those personas through text, but instead of "now here's someone worthy of my attention" my gut reaction is "lol look at these nerds."

I don't hate TRP.

In my opinion its good for men who never had a father figure/strong father figure in their life a bit to understand women are not 100% the same as men. Its good in terms of getting your life together, getting in shape etc.

Its bad in that it treats all women as basically the same, which is just stupid. NAWALT and assuming they are is a way to never really be happy with your relationship.

Personally I'd recommend PUA over RP for all but the most beta of men.

I swap back and forth between a few things, but I think the largest issue that people have with it is the sweeping generalizations of women. Women are treated as a protected class much like other minorities. "X minority generally does [thing]" is just not something that will be approved of (especially when formulating strategies to sleep with women). Doubly so when considering generalizations and claims based on biology is "gender essentialism," something that is very objectionable to a wide range of leftists.

You see this from a lot of bloops with: "women aren't a monolith" type responses. The mere idea of generalizing a population, especially one of a "protected class," is objectionable.

Additionally, male sexuality is simply seen as predatory and dangerous to many women. The idea of men hiding behind a curtain of anonymity and formulating the best ways to seduce women just comes off as creepy and gross to a lot of them.

Even if TRP is wrong or not, it criticizes women in a sense, and most women get really defensive about being criticized in a gender-sense, beucase they feel their belonging or "in-group mentality" to that gender more so than men do with their own.

And some men hate it because it sounds manipulative. Others because they don't like competition.

TRP shines a light on the manipulative nature of female sexuality. When men are aware of this they are harder to manipulate. Women dont like that as it's their only power.

The alternative of course, is that they would have to become quality women who deserve a good man, but that's too much to ask for most of them so the temper tantrum ensues.

I don't hate it, I just wish it wasn't true because I do find it pretty disgusting. TBP rewards good people for being good people, TRP doesn't exclude bad people from the reward cycle and actually are more likely to reward them than not, and leaves the good people to clean up the disgusting mess left behind at their own cost like cucks.

I have no interest in helping women succeed and propping up a system that helps them in life just to be a cuck just so they can be as sloppy and disgusting as they want with no judgment or responsibility to it. I'd rather be Incel.

My problem with the TRP subreddit: Once you read the sidebar and the reading material listed, there's no longer a point to the subreddit. The sub itself is a gateway to alt-right ideology, which I'm vehemently opposed to on ethical grounds.

My problem with RP teachings: They're dehumanizing to varying degrees, and really, the userbase's problems with sex could easily be solved if they'd just go MGTOW and find some other activity to focus their energies on.

That said, I still think that a lot of RP teachings about women (shit tests and the Wall being prime examples) are spot-on.

It's completely unscientific and relies mainly on anecdata to prove their hypothesis. What you believe can become "reality" purely from confirmation bias and this is what a lot of them are experiencing I think.
