I got hurt several times (not badly, just the usual breakups and oneitis) and couldn't understand why I couldn't get a relationship to work. Then I found the red pill and all my past made sense suddenly. All women I ever met (from many different countries and cultures) followed the redpill theoretical description (hypergamy, AF/BB, solpsism, feelz before reals, etc.), and all my relationship failures pointed to me acting inappropriately at the wrong moments, usually in a beta way.

Does the average red pill man stay monogamous or fore-see monogamy as part of a relationship with a woman one day? Or is the idea that once a woman hits the wall, we should always have a younger plate to spin?

I too would like to know the proportion of subscribers here who spin plates versus those who are doing LTRs. Head to the marriedredpill sub for more examples of non plate-spinners. I for one, have a strategy of seeking monogamous LTRs because I value a woman's nurturing more than multiple sex partners.

You have to understand that the redpill is not about having multiple, concurrent, non committed sexual relationships. It's only a body of knowledge about humans' sexual dynamics. What you do with this knowledge is up to you. Hence all the other subreddits.

This is my first time posting on here, I'm a lurker and haven't fully swallowed the redpill, its still in my hand, but I'm staring at it.

The problem with the latest generation is constant gratification and validation, 24/7 all the time now. With the masses all using smart phones, social media, twitter, facebook and snapchat (cheaters paradise) tinder, women will forever be bombarded with men constantly trying to get their attention in a way that HAS never happened EVER since mankind as existed on earth.

Dick picks, pick up lines, flirting. All day and night long. And the more attractive she is, the more of these she gets. Even HB3, HB4, HB5 are getting desperate dudes that they normally would never get... (tinder... etc etc etc)

Now imagine a 14 year old girl getting her first iphone6 or samsung galaxy. How long until she sends her first nude and gets her first dick pick/nudes back. Then next thing you know, snapchats, tinder, instagram, tumbler, whatsapp and whatever comes out next.

Basically the CC just comes running to them and you expect them to resist it forever? Once they get on it, they're probably going go stay on it, and once that number gets too high, their bonding ability gets worse and worse, then next thing you know, they hit the wall at 30 something, and whatever relationships they did have, they probably cheated or did some branch swinging... more than once.

And this is why it's AWALT from here on out. The amount of attention they get is 10x fold 30 years ago. and they LOVE IT. Women will never be the same as they once were. Funny you should mention sisters, as it was my sister who cemented TRP for me.

Sally is about as close to a unicorn as you will ever find. She has always wanted to be a wife and mother, she excels in and genuinely enjoys traditional 'womanly' duties, including child rearing, she is fit and attractive...pretty much the complete package.

When Sally was 18 she got pregnant by the man who took her virginity, a quiet, shy beta named Billy. My family liked him, and everything seemed fine.

I hold my grandmother, who recently passed, in very high esteem.

She was a black woman in Northern California who owned her own house back in the 1960s, dealt with racist bullshit like a champ, could talk trash with the best of them, loved her family fiercely, and slept with a gun under her pillow. She married once and her husband died, then she remarried. In total she had five children, and all of them have turned out fine except for one, who suffers from mental illness. I respect her deeply.

Because of my grandmother, I scoff at a lot of modern women today, who partake in what C.H. Sommers calls "fainting couch Feminism", and who are actually FAR more privileged than my Oma ever was, and yet still complain about how oppressed they are, I can't stand it.

I am estranged from my mother, on the other hand. Whereas myself and my grandmother had a good relationship, I actually carry a lot of rage toward my mother.

She had both me AND my younger brother out of wedlock (and we have different fathers), and it's clear that she simply wasn't capable of handling the burdens of motherhood on her own. She refuses to give me any information about my father, and wasn't very nurturing during my upbringing. I've tried to be compassionate toward her for many years, but it just isn't working for me anymore.

So if there IS a woman that has caused hurt in my life, it is my mother, but that has nothing to do with how I found TRP.

I am currently in a relationship and I battle with these concepts often--is it worth it? Are AWALT? Is she a unicorn?

I've generally had really good taste in women (and I am in the entertainment industry in NYC, so the caliber of women I usually interact with aren't the same as what most other men interact with), and I believe in my current relationship I've chosen a very, very strong candidate for a very long term relationship.

And yet I keep myself a little removed, keeping in mind much of what I've observed growing up (in terms of how most people in relationships I've seen are miserable), much of what I've absorbed regarding what constitutes a healthy relationship (self-development books such as Robert Glover's "No More Mr. Nice Guy", which in a way started me on my journey to TRP), and much of the Red Pill philosophy.

So while it looks as though she may be just about perfect, because of TRP I am also no fool. I see the shit tests, I see the manipulation, I see the hamstering. I know that due to hypergamy I could be jettisoned at any moment. I am skeptical of claims of love, both hers and mine. I am wary.

On top of that she has two older sisters, who are married to certified Beta, BP men, and I can see how that dynamic plays out in their relationships. I refuse to let that happen to me, and if things start going in that direction, I'll have to pull a Patrice O'Neal and "be ready to take the L".

I'll close by saying that while I don't hate women, the last couple of years I've grown weary of them. I know and have worked with and have loved some truly remarkable women, but as we all know they are in the severe minority. And I'd wager that most of them are brainwashed by media and academia, digesting and regurgitating feminist beliefs and talking points as if they are factual.

And you simply CAN'T reason with them, and that actually is what's making me more and more angry with them as a whole, and more jaded in general. The woman I'm with is pretty great, and we talk about gender issues from time to time, and she has come around to understanding how I view things.

But most women aren't like her, and they certainly couldn't hold a candle to my grandmother, who as I write this I realize I miss a whole lot.

Typically the way TRP is misrepresented is due to a lack of ability to understand nuance and pragmatism ahead of black and white thinking with a dash of utopian dreams. I began writing a post on that once but then realised it was going to become ridiculously long. Like, absurdly so. If you look at the reply by u/red-curry here, you get an idea of just how much needs to be written to even begin clearing things up.

Try approaching TRP, not as dogma, but as a nuanced guide to understanding the sexual market place. This guide is therefore multifaceted because such a wide degree of things affect your SMV, and the way you approach the SMP will also impact your wider life.

is not so much that we think that. It's because the discussion is about the sexual market place, and the vast majority of women have very little value once they hit 30. Naturally "the wall" comes at different ages for every woman. Many Asian women don't hit that looks wall until their 40s. However the reason women tend to lose their looks around 30 is because they naturally lose their fertility around that age, it goes downhill very fast over the following ten years. Nature is simply telling you as a man that this woman is not as fertile anymore. When you're discussing sexual value, then for women we're talking about their looks and fertility. This is separate to value as a human being. Do you see the difference and why the latter isn't going to be widely discussed here?

If you want to read where that's put in... have a look at some of the LTR game guides. Things like the unicorn hunter checklist will go through admirable qualities in a woman that provide her with greater value as a person. Skills, personality traits that make her pleasant to be around, goals that provide her life with direction. All these things would add value to any person's life.

Just like female attractiveness varies, the personalities and additional value of women varies from one to the other. Due to the way the RMV of the majority of women these days is pretty low... it gives the impression that all woman have no value. This is false, you've just got to appreciate the nuance and then navigate the fact that many people lie about their value. After all, a woman of poor relationship value is still going to try and get a man of high value if she can. We all want to try and get the best person we can, there's nothing wrong with that in itself. The problem comes when some will lie about their value to get access to someone higher value than they would otherwise get. Women who have high value as individuals are worth knowing for more than just sex... but again, thanks to the way society has changed, these women are now rare.

I've had women who've hurt me in the past. Their behaviour was all in line with the way TRP would predict it. Women who have not hurt me are still in line with the way TRP would predict. I have yet to meet a woman who has not acted in the way TRP would predict. My feelings are irrelevant to the way the women in my life have chosen to act. It is my actions which have caused changes in their actions. Not whether I was hurt or not.

As has been mentioned many times in this thread, different women will react differently to their urges and feelings. Some will control them better than others. But they will all feel them.

While I have been severely fucked over, there was no single girl who hurt me so badly that it caused me to hate girls as you imply. There is no hate, no bitterness towards girls at all, only the realization that they're not all sugar and spice. They're humans, evolved from other lifeforms before us, with residual wiring in our minds that can be denied, but will inevitably show through. I see them for what they are, just as I see men for what they are, and I don't rationalize or ignore they do simply because they're pretty or I want to fuck them. I was told they're different from what they actually are, but I learned a long time ago what attracts them, what buttons to push, and exactly what to do to get one naked with me. It's relatively standard with the only variance being the levels of button pushing required. I was doing this 30 years ago, long before the internet connected us, and I have massive experience with people from all over the world.

I know many wonderful girls, both beautiful and not so beautiful, but there are certain aspects of the feminine nature that encompass the vast majority of them. They all do certain things, even if they don't want anyone to know our she doesn't realize it herself, she still does it. It doesn't make them horrible people, it makes them human. It's your judgement of our observations that make you think we believe they're horrible.

The one girl who was very promising, and I spent nearly ten years with her as a result, did exactly the same thing the worst file repugnant bitch in my life did, but for a different reason. She was my second wife, 8 years of no arguments, wild crazy sex all the time, rarely ever said no, was a 21 year old virgin when I met her, 13 years my junior, no drinking, no smoking, never cheated until the end. She's a terrible liar, so I knew exactly when she cheated, she rarely lied to me because she had no reason to do so. I'm so late to this, but whatever. TRP is not so much an all-encompassing theory based on science as it is a reaction based on experience. We're hypothetical soldiers being thrown on the front lines of a conscripted army and all we want to do is go back to our safe place. When you see a 40 year old man swinging from a rope in his garage because he never got to see the children he loses half of his money for, or you hear about guys going their whole lives without a shred of intimacy thrown their way, and the world says "That's just how it is," you start to see that the warfare metaphor isn't so far from reality. I'm supposed to take everything I've earned and divide it in two just because this other person has decided to grace me with their presence in my life? Aren't I worth more than that?" A lot of the anger towards women you see are from men who have been horribly abused by women, by their single moms, by their ex-wives and by their lovers.

The Red Pill is not about anger towards women and certainly not about hatred. The entire sub is devoted to figuring out the best sexual strategy to deal with women! However some of the men on here are damaged and some are seeing a very harsh reality for the first time. Cut them some slack.

The guys on Married Red Pill take a more realistic view of women. We think most women can be fixed by strong leadership just like men can be fixed by training and knowledge. Unfortunately, marriage cannot be fixed in it's present incarnation.

I'm relatively new to theredpill, so I still have a lot to read to take this post from the standpoint of the community. Thus far, though, I can say that I'm gonna be a pretty active follower of their ideas and I agree with a lot of what they say.

So, in response to what I quoted, it's not being hurt by one woman, but the majority of them. To put it simply, whatever I was trying to do with women wasn't working. I was told I was awkward, treated like a child, made fun of, etc. all by girls. I still remember the day that I was sitting at the park with some friends, and this girl told me that I wouls never get a girlfriend, who the fuck knows why. It still makes my blood boil.

Of course, not all women are like that, but the idea that women percieved me in that way told me that I needed fo change something. So, here I am.

Women tend to fall in love(feels) very quickly with someone they see as "fit" both physically, attitude wise and in status. This is something that reinforces my belief in TRP actually. My mother went to college, she has a degree, she's smart. She doesn't care for most women, dislikes feminism, thinks the wage gap is bullshit, doesn't think motherhood is "the hardest job in the world," she's RP as fuck. She's why I started to realize the "strangeness" of the world so early. She always scoffed at the incompetent husband commercials for example. She realizes marriage is a 2 way street and has never expected to be a "princess," she pulls her own weight and respects the dynamic of the husband-wife relationship, without being a timid beaten down stereotypical subservient wife.

But despite all of this, her inherent nature shines through. She is motivated by emotion to extreme degrees, she follows what redpill theory predicts almost exactly.

These days she routinely flips her shit and has an emotional breakdown upset about this or that. She is motivated almost entirely by emotion.

She seems to completely lack the ability to be introspective and mindful of her behavior. When she feels a certain way it is always some external factor, be it good or bad. If she's bored, that's my dads fault. If she's happy it's whatever media she is consuming, or place she is experiencing. Her political opinions depend on the news story that day. Pope says to help refugees, we should help refugees; Paris attacks, we should not help the refugees.

Even the smartest girls I grew up with who have degrees in things like engineering, and are pursuing post-graduate degrees still follow RP's behavior model.

Some women are much worse than others, to be sure. There is a massive difference between the girls I know in graduate school, and the girls I know who post instagram pics every day of their weekend partying.

But the spectrum they occupy still falls under the outline that Red Pill has lain out. The feminist, single mother, who married after her high school pregnancy follows red pill behavior. So does the grad school engineer, so does the instagram whore, so does my mother. It's not a matter of being aware of it or having a certain mentality, it's just the way it seems to work.

Now, given the option I would much rather spend time with women like my mother or the graduate school candidate because they at least can participate in conversations beyond what they did last weekend. But they still participate in sexual strategy, still respond to red pill "tactics," and still want to get the biggest bang for their buck.

It's like economics. People respond to incentives and are self interested. No matter how much you think you don't, this is a basic rule of life. What you place value in can change, but you'll still run the maze for the cheese, regardless of you economic philosophies.

The funny thing is that practically all the women in my life are highly educated and logical. My wife of 5 years (we've been together for 10 years) is a doctorate level engineer and we work together for the same energy corporation. My mother has a doctorate In German Studies and works for the State Dept for the US. My sister is a neurosurgeon. My aunt on my mother's side, teaches IR at a top university on the east coast. Practically all the women in my life are or were extremely ambitious people who have or had great success in life because they were highly logical and in many ways shunned emotional attachments in favor of success. My parents got an amicable divorce because while my dad was willing to move around the world working for the same corporation I now work for, my mother got attached to working in Germany for the US govt. My mom and dad are still best friends. Neither of them got remarried. Though my dad almost did get remarried but his fiance died in a car crash while they were living and working in France. My mother never got in another relationship because she practically got married to the job. My aunt had one kid and shes a disappointment because she didn't get her doctorate in Chinese literature (or whatever it was, had something to do with Chinese culture) from an ivy league school (a degree from Stanford may as well be a degree from University of Phoenix Clare!)

It's irrelevant how I see my mother and sister. TRP is about sexual strategy (and the things associated with it, being high status, social skills, building your body and mind, etc). I study two types of women - the women I want to bang, the women I want to LTR.

I know there are amazing women kicking ass in the lab, in the military, being great wives, starting up companies, doing all kinds of impressive shit. One of my friends is ugly as a gremlin, but she's a kind person who's started up her own nonprofit that benefits a lot of people.

But am I trying to fuck them? No, so why am I going to spend all day thinking about them and studying their behavior. I'm not looking for them, so I'm going to focus my awareness and observations on the girls I want to fuck.

I do not believe in monogamous relationships for sub-25 guys, and I tend to think that if you are in one, you are wasting your youth. Young girls don't want to be tied down, why cuff them? Why spend college trying to police your LDR's behavior and getting upset when she sucks some dick on her study abroad trip? You focus on you, build your value, and have fuckbuddies, but don't lose mental focus getting oneitis. It is going to sap your will do to other great things like build your career.

When you're trying to build your "house" - aka have kids, then that's when I'd get ready for LTRs. You want a consistent mother figure in your kids life, as much as we haw about how important the father's role is, kids need a mother figure too. That's why you want to find the best woman you can feasibly get (if you can't get a good one, work on your value and put off kids until you can).

So I'm screening for two things - is she a girl with high SMV but low RMV? Slutzoned. Is she a girl with low SMV but high RMV? Okay, she's cool and I applaud her, but she's not doing it for me sexually so friendzoned. Is she a girl with high SMV and high RMV? I'll try her out as a plate for a while and then upgrade to a LTR if she's as cool as she seems.

For pursuing a relationship, yes. I think there is a reason and plenty of women out there who are relationship worthy, if that's what you're looking for in life. This mindset started to make sense when I began to read TRP. I personally am not sure if I want to tie myself down in monogamy to one woman. No sisters, but my mother has provided countless examples of RP truths. My mother is a vapid cunt and a sorry excuse for a human being. She leaches off my father who is comparatively a much more successful, intelligent, and all around better person than her. She's completely entitled for no reason whatsoever, thinking she has earned everything my father has because she stayed at home watching kids for a few days a week. She currently works 3 days a week and gets an allowance from my father, which she still exceeds and gets into tens of thousands of dollars in debt. My father always bails her out and chastises her for her financial decisions, much like you would a young child. She is effectively a child, I surpassed her mental maturity at the age of 12. I've learned how to deal with her perfectly by the age of 16, just ignore her completely and treat her like a child. Trying to argue with her logically or asking her to form a rational thought in her head will only end in annoyance for myself, as she's never wrong and always justified in her actions. My only mistake with women was not treating them all like my mother, I was very beta and thought most women were inherently good, rational, logical beings. It took a while but I now realize truly that biologically, AWALT. There is not a woman on earth that doesn't have her logic completely eclipsed by her feelings, it's been the same with all my plates, LTRs, colleagues and coworkers. AWALT has stood true through every example.

AWALT has a very split meaning within and outside of the red pill community. If you asked 10 TRP members what AWALT means, they'd give you 10 different answers. This leads to confusion as people throw the term around assuming everyone shares the same definition as themselves. Some will say that AWALT is a generalization used to insulate men from getting hurt from women and they aren't wrong per say, but they aren't correct either. This definition of AWALT seems to imply that NAWALT but since the vast majority of women are like that, it's best to assume that AWALT. The "like that" part of this definition usually refers to things like cheating, lying, being machevelian and manipulative in nature, etc.

I think the more experienced members of TRP use the definition of AWALT in a much more literal sense, meaning exactly what the phrase says... ALL women are like that. Every single one on earth, barring those with genetic mutations and obscure mental illnesses. However the difference in this definition is what constitues the "like that" portion of it. The "like that" simply refers to how women are wired biologically, what they seek in their mates in the opposite sex, how they approach sexual strategy, etc. It doesn't touch on cheating, lying, and all the other things used in the definition above. To me it is just a constant reminder that women are wired completely different than men when it comes to attraction and sexual strategy and that we should not expect women to act like men in these arenas just because it would be more convenient and easy for ourselves. It doesn't mean that all women are evil, manipulative beings, or that every woman will cheat if given the chance. All of those decisions factor in their upbringing, personal morality, strength of character, etc, when they attempt to fight their biological programming.

When it comes to forming relationships with females, it depends on what you seek from them. Friendships are off the table as men and women form friendship bonds differently and there will always be sexual tension from one or both parties.

If like myself, a man does not plan to get married or have kids, the value of a woman is mostly in the short term. That's not to say they are only useful as a physical receptacle, but they will quickly outwear their uses as they become more attached. The reason being is that they will continually shit-test and comfort-test as the relationships goes on. A man with strong frame can keep a harem of women around on his terms, but he will be subjected to these tests more often while enjoying the company of the women even less. Comparing the positives and negatives, the investment of effort put into maintaining these relationships eventually just becomes too great for the benefits you are getting from them. At this point it's just logical to procure new relationships rather than waste considerably more effort on maintaining older ones. I will say that I really enjoy the company (physical, emotional, and intellectual) of a woman that I am on the same page as and in a comfortable state with. The problem is that is usually quite short as they demand for more commitment or become unfulfilled with my lifestyle choices. I have tried going the monogamous route but feel I am denying a part of myself in order to keep the woman I am with happy.

If a man wanted to create a family, then a woman's value is readily apparent. You cannot have children without a strong male and female influence. I think the past 2-3 generations have shown how terrible it is for children to grow up in fatherless homes or without a strong male influence, but what is equally important is a nurturing female influence in a child's life. The evidence to the contrary is not as readily available as single-father households are far less common. For this topic I can't speak too much on how you would choose a mate, since I have no interest in a family myself I have not put much time into researching this facit of TRP. Many men on TRP will advocate thoroughly vetting women to ensure they have "found a good one", but even if you double check every single thing about a girls background you can fall victim to their biological impulses fucking you over later in life. I think the best you can hope for is training a women you are with long term by holding as strong a frame as possible. If a family unit or LTR (20 yr+) is to stand the test of time, it must do so with a strong male leader making all the decisions. I'm not saying women are incapable of filling this leadership role, as many of them can effectively lead a family unit. But I will note that if the female is the leader she will grow tired of the male, not needing him for anything. Females are attracted to masculine figures, those with strong frame and leadership characteristics, so if she doesn't see that in her mate she will look elsewhere.

I would be lying if I said I haven't dealt with my share of heart-ache, but this was not the driving force in learning about TRP. I was always shocked at the contradiction between what women said they want and the types of men women actually went for. I wanted to understand how they thought, I found PUA and learned that skill to great success but I still could not figure out women in the long term. Once I started researching many of TRPs outside books and sources I can now say I completely understand the differences in sexual strategy and attraction between the two sexes.

I don't hate women for it and I don't hold a grudge on any of the many many women who broke my poor beta heart in the past. Anger can only motivate you for so long, after a while a genuine desire to learn and improve yourself has to take over or you won't get anywhere. I don't fault the women in my past for treating me how they did, they were simply acting on their biological programming. They didn't act out of spite or vengeance, they simply weren't attracted to me. It's not their fault, I can't force them to be attracted to me no more than they can force me to be attracted to a 300 lb hambeast (although they do try with their body shaming campaigns).

It's impossible to speak accurately on such things. First off, what constitutes a "red pill man"? Do you simply have to know and partake in the subreddit to be a red pill man? I can say with certainty that 95%+ of the members that regularly post on this sub these days don't follow red pill life styles, haven't read the side-bar, haven't read the supporting books and material, and haven't practised TRP in their own lives for hundreds of hours. The only thing every member of this board have in common is a shared interest in TRP, it's the same as any other online forum. Say you go to a forum for... photoshop, or bodybuilding, or a video game, the only common denominator is that every member has an interest in the subject. There are likely to be a few experts and many many amateurs within those communities, just as there are here.

I think personally monogomy or a long term relationship is just a preference for most TRP men, but I can say that the current legal state of marriage has moved any logically-thinking man away from the idea of marriage. While there are a lot of benefits to having a single long term partner, there is absolutely no benefit for a man these days to get married. I could see my current ex-LTR being the person I spend my entire life with if, but I also see the merit in generating new plates and new relationships. However, I will never get married.

My wife speaks 5 languages, has two undergrads a master and now is in medschool, and is like a Jew with the money (in a good way). Oh, and she cooks daily and cleans lol. I do see my mom in the same way. I don't love her any less if thats what you are implying. The traits and what they do its about as normal as men looking for good looking women to reproduce with. It's natural to shit test , hyper gamy, seek BB and AF.

The key in RP is understanding he complementarity of the sexes not to say that women are worthless beyond having babies. RP emphasizes need for men to realize their natural strength is to be dominant, rational, thoughtful, confident, calculated, physically fit and strong, calm and collected. It also emphasizes that women's natural strength is to be submissive, attractive, caring, nurturing, elegant, entertaining, sexy, desirable.
