I think its a crap load of reasons, and the comments highlight a lot of really good ones.

I think part of it is porn - why bother putting yourself open to rejection, when you can watch thousands of porn videos at the click of a button? This also ties into laziness - dating takes effort, porn takes finger muscles. You don't have to be fit, have game, have money, have social skills to watch porn.

Another part is the #metoo bullshit movement. Guys everywhere, in particular white males, hear non stop that they are rapists and pieces of shit and the problem with society, the world, and for missing socks in the dryer. They see famous people and politicians get shafted over ALLEGATIONS. They see the Gillette commercial talking about how men are toxic and should be ashamed of themselves.

Guilt and shame - men are ashamed of being who they are and wanting what men want. This guilt and shame comes from my last paragraph - basically society shames men for being masculine. We had to sit through hour long power point presentations in the military talking about how we need to stop sexually harrassing women when none of us fucking did it. Society shames men for seeing women as objects and wanting to fuck them, meanwhile women literally walk around dressed like whores and objectify themselves, but if we acknowledge it we're "part of the problem." Women are literally praised for everything they do, men are shamed.

Education on relationships. We've all seen the women magazines at the stores, "50 Moves to Blown you Mans Mind in the Bedroom." Or we've seen the TV shows, Dr.Phil, Steve Harvey, Oprah - all these shows designed for women to educate themselves on dating and relationships. Men have far fewer resources out there, and when we do have a resource such as TRP, they get banned on social media and called incels (even though we are getting laid and are the exact opposite, tf?)

Dating apps. The 80/20 rule runs supreme in dating apps. A lot of guys simply cannot compete with Chad and Tyrone, and when they get on dating apps they lose all hope. It can really bring you down when you've messaged hundreds of chicks and none of them seem interested.

Video games. Video games release dopamine or some bullshit feel good chemicals in your brain. When you can have a lot of fun at home, and play with your buddies online and bond, why bother going out and meeting chicks? Video game addiction is a real thing, and I've definitely gone through periods of it myself.

IMO this comes from low testosterone levels and the frying of dopamine receptors. Yeah sure women having high standards contributes but I feel the former of what I said is the primary cause. The low testosterone comes from poor diet which lacks adequate nutrition, lack of exercise and training, copious amounts of drugs and alcohol. The frying of the dopamine receptors occurs from the constant binging of porn, video games and social media which provide the user with that dopamine hit and instant gratification from essentiallly doing nothing. That is not how dopamine, which is our reward centre is supposed to work. You don’t get a reward for doing nothing.

The Repetitive cycle of this continues and results in numb dopamine receptors which results in the lack of motivation to do things. I mean like why bother going out to get chciks when you can get that dopamine hit and watch porn? Why bother going out and actually levelling yourself up in real life by hitting the gym when you can get instant gratification by getting that fortnite win? Yeah you can blame society’s blue pill conditioning and girls but that’s just having a victim mentality. They need snap out of the mentality and Be a man and take control of the life they are given. The combination of low testosterone and numb dopamine receptors results in this. It’s ultimately the result of the instant gratification. I think there’s this societal pressure making guys act this way. With all the #metoo shit and women who love to play the victim role, it seems that actively going for girls is almost taboo, that your a “dog” or “thirsty fucboi” and a “simp”. Because we live in a time where everything in society needs to be equal unless it's dating/sex, then it's the "go fucking kill yourself, I got mine" attitude on steroids.

A lot of young guys have checked out, because why bother when 95-99% of times they will be rejected. Girls completely refuse to do anything unless a guy is very attractive, and even then they most likely won't approach. I'm speaking from personal experience here, it's fucking exhausting having to do all the work while the girl only has to decide if she wants to spread her legs or not, and the fact that I have to compete against tens/hundreds of other guys that she can choose from whenever. That's why I never approach girls, I don't keep female friends, and I use escorts whenever I need to clear my system. This is very frowned upon in the RP community, and I get that, but I just cannot stand this extremely extremely unequal/unfair state of the dating/sexual market.

On top of that you have the 80/20 rule and hypergamy on steroids. And no, every guy cannot become part of the 20%, mathematically and genetically. Many guys drew the short straw in terms of genetics and are completely shit out of luck; stuff like "lift and hold frame" won't do jack for them.

Can’t say I’m asexual but I’ve just not had to same urge to chase woman than I did for the last few years. Maybe I’m just making excuses but I’ve just trying to find my way in life. Im a 22 year old guy and I’d say I’m fairly handsome as I’ve been with multiple beautiful woman, I’m very fit as I always lift 4-6 days a week along with cardio, and I work even though it’s not a glamorous job.

It is hard to really have the right mindset with your game and have the sex drive you desire when you’re just not happy and satisfied where you’re at in life so I will continue to find my way in life and I believe that game will come back to me when I start making my life the way I want it to be. I’m actually leaving for the Air Force in June with a nice job lined up and have a good amount of money saved up so I believe I’m taking the right steps forward.

Overall, this is just my perspective but I do get what you mean with lots of guys just being pussies and all cynical because they can’t get laid. More power to anyone with good game, gotta find my way and I’ll plan on getting back there!

Low testosterone, there are even mainstream studies and news articles about how modern men have the same levels of testosterone that pre-pubescent boys had in previous generations, there are other studies that are finding that if these rates of testosterone decline continue most men will be infertile by around ~2030.

There are many factors, some have already been mentioned, but I will try to list all the most important ones that come to mind:

-Lack of proper exercise and nutrition, getting regular exercise is SUPER important.

-Estrogen mimicking foods like soy, soybean oil is the most commonly used cooking oil in america, so even if you THINK you don't eat soy, you most likely do.

-Estrogen mimicking pesticides are sprayed onto MANY different crops, including soy which already has estrogen mimickers in the plant matter, so definitely avoid soy.

-much of our food is stored in plastic, or plastic-lined containers that frequently leech estrogen mimicking chemicals like BPA into the food, try to avoid plastic food containers and tupperware in favor of glass ones, especially for acidic foods.

-Tap Water in many large cities is filled with female birth control hormones because they are very tiny particles and almost impossible for water treatment plants to filter out, so filter your tap water(with something better than a brita filter) or just avoid living in big cites altogether, the air pollution in big cities likely isn't helping either.

I'm sure there's more that I can't think of right now, so I may edit this post to add them later. And please feel free to look any of this up for yourself, I have studied nutrition for many years independently and I've taken multiple college-level courses on the subject, so I'm not just talking out my ass here.

It's because the ability for women to just accuse you of any sexual immoral thing they can conjure and get away with it. I'm a 20 year old man myself and about every 3 months I see women publicly condemn a man for something in public and in mass. Some of those men I can verify that they did nothing wrong with some of the accounts of what the women are saying aren't even anything wrong let alone illegal. I've seen a classmate accused of rape who wasn't even in a three hour radius during the allegation and the women changing the dates 3 TIMES all of which he wasn't on campus for. The punishment for her? She was banned from a campus she doesn't go to with no actual system to ensure she can't come back (It's open campus with open dorms). That doesn't mean all these men are innocent of what there being accused of but it does mean 100 percent of the people doing the accusing are insane to publicly condemn them instead of handling this in a court of law where they will not be able to do it again.

I mean, what's wrong with being asexual? Why is that a problem to you? I am asexual, and I think it's a great thing. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

It’s gotta be a lack of positive masculine role models. Not saying they’re not out there, but they’re less likely to be around in young men’s everyday lives now. That being said, I think this makes it easier than ever to succeed as a man given the right conditions

They don't see a way out. With Me Too, and ultra feminism, micro aggressions etc... all Game went underground. Sweet talking a girl into bed used to be seen as an admirable skill in a man. Now in great pop society it is seen as acting in an amoral and borderline predatory way.

Men don't have role models growing up. They don't see their real options. Men have to be more careful nowadays. Before a bad rejection was laughed off and forgotten. Now it could be recorded and spread on social media, same with texts etc.

It takes more finesse and cloak and dagger mindset to weave through unscathed and staying in good graces with all the right social groups.

I just started watching Breaking Bad for the second time. It orginally came out a decaded ago when smart phones weren't popular yet. I can't even believe the language and jokes and innuendos they make they I don't think would fly today. That is how careful the world has become in 10 short years. A more careful world makes men more careful. Daring and boldness make panties wet not being ultra careful.

Being beta is really being ultra careful. You go out of your way not to piss off people that may or may not have your best interests at heart.

And what's funny is they actively chastise dudes who actively go after women and try to get with them and criticize them and act all passive aggressive towards them when they just don't do shit and sit on their ass all day game and smoke weed.

Look up the monkeys and ladder experiment. Its just the monkey brain of ours that keeps people down and stops people from doing things against the social norm.

As for desire to get with women. There are a lot of reasons for that, the biggest one I believe is that the fear of failure especially in the online age, can be quite devestating. In my time going up to a group of women and getting rejected badly would just get a few chuckles from friends that are there at the time. Now it can potentially be shared to everyone you know and with some women being quite vocal online about bad interactions with guys approaching them its quite easy to see why guys might not want to do it.

I mean unless they’re the creepy incels who are angry honey badgers who haven’t figured out being a honey badger will get you no ‘tang... or if you’re the creepy redpill type too, there are people who are just figuring shit out, going along, doin no harm and then there are skeezers and skip skap scallywags on both the alpha/beta spectrum (and using alpha and beta is stupid in my humble opinion but seems to be the base vernacular w the kids so).
