I’m 5’6, brown (Latino) and average looking. At 23 I’d only been with 3 girls. Now at 31 I’ve been with 23.

At my best, I was attracting women because I felt good about myself. I was working out, and living my best life I wasn’t rich, in fact I had to work two jobs but I always maintains a positive attitude. I wasn’t needy and I always challenged the women I wanted. I worked as a barista and gym mechanic fixing the equipment.

My social skills went up thanks to both jobs and I was literally rejected hundreds of hundreds of times. Yes multiple hundreds, I was relentless in my approach with women. For every 100 women I spoke with maybe 10 would give me a positive response and 5 would give me their number and 1-3 would actually go on a date with me.

This is how I got over my fear of rejection, I got to practice my approach and social skills and eventually I got better at being receptive about who to approach and how to talk to girls.

It takes practice, just keep swinging your bat (lol) and you’ll hit a home run, the. You’ll know what that feels like and you can repeat the process to increase your average.

Love yourself first and focus on your mission/hobbies/passion in life and you’ll generate an inner glow that attracts women instead of you chasing them.

Dude your not as short as you think you are, and if project your height as being a problem for you, then you’ll attract women who find your height to be a problem. Get over it. It’s not the big deal you’re making it out to be.

I’m in California btw in the largest city of the state where many woman are super materialistic and I have no problem dating because I don’t feel sorry for myself for being 5’6.

Being short is a disadvantage that we're never going to shake, so I realized it's better to focus on what you can change. If you're skinny, hit the gym, put on some lean mass. Often times skinny dudes look too much like boys and not enough like men. Grow out your facial hair in a way that's organized and well groomed. Get regular haircuts in a style that is masculine and modern. Dress well and wear clean shoes. Build up your confidence and don't let the negative thoughts compromise your confidence

5’7” Korean guy here. The key is confidence - and not the fake type. I mean confidence in how you look, who you are, what you do, and your ability to make others feel interesting/add value to conversations.

Go to the gym. Take up hobbies that you find interesting and work hard at your job/school. You have to be confident in yourself. Girls can tell right away.

26.5 and 5'8 I got laid with 3 women...1st one hit on me she is like a 3.5\10 sex was vanilla af and we had kind of a cute relationship. 2nd was a tinder match and she was around a 2\10 I dated her for a while because I hoped she would improve her life and that came back to bite me in the ass. 3rd one was a 5\10 one night stand kinda...sex was very good but she was kind of a slut, before I slept with her she was not slutty but after that she started seeing many many guys and girls at the same time. Other guys are saying: "I'm too skinny", "I'm too fat", "I am too old"... do not search for excuses and keep in mind that it will be many girls who will not accept you as their friend because you are not singing in a band or you don't have blue eyes...

The idea is to not search for excuses and go talk to girls.

Most women I've talked to dont care a lot about height. Im short too (1,67 cm) and honestly I dont struggle a lot. In the end it all comes down to confidence.

Remember : you will project what you believe. So if you think you're too short to attract girls, then girls will see that and go for taller men. You're basically trying to validate your belief and to prove that indeed it's difficult to have success in dating when you're a short man. If you change your belief (for example "being short is what makes me so attractive"), the reality around you will also change to validate your new beliefs.

I'm 5'6, age 28, definitely not above average in attractiveness, and I have more success than I could ever imagine when I was younger. Being short is actually a great quality to be successful in dating in my opinion. This is why :

Being short means you're more approachable. You're at the same height as most women so you seem safe and respectful. Compared to someone taller, girls will intuitively trust you a little bit more. Compared to all my taller friends, I connect with women very easily, not even necessary for seduction.
You're at most women's height so you give better hugs. Use that at your advantage and become the best hugger on the planet. Good hugs are like being a good dancer, it's very powerful.
Men will not be intimidated by you. Most men are jealous of taller guys, rarely the shorter ones. So as a short guy it's easy to get into a group of friends, the guys will usually welcome you because they don't initially see you as a threat. That means overall you have an easier access to women in general.
I took some time to realise that, but a lot of people associate being short to being smart. I don't know exactly why, but I think it's because we believe that as a tall guy you don't "need" to be smart because life is easier. It's very subtle obviously, but if what you say is clear and relevant, girls will more easily believe that you're smart.
It's easier to look fit when you're short. That means your time at the gym is even more effective ! It's not very useful to invest all your time and energy into working out, because you will never be the physical dream guy, but it's still something that is important. Find the formula that works for you.
You can hide more easily. If you don't understand why it's important, you will when you have more success.
With most girls below your size, you will have an advantage over taller guys. A lot of people don't want too big of a size difference in their relationship, so they will be more attracted by guys barely taller than them.

I never considered myself short until I started reading stupid posts on here or that absolute garbage show fresh & fit which seem to drag on the worst humanity has to offer. Never had a problem except one with one shallow woman. Genuinely convinced internet culture is perpetuating this insecurity more than it actually being a thing.

I’m 5,8. I was never aware of my height growing up as I had many friends the same size. It has been pointed out a few times but who cares. It really is a confidence thing. Back yourself and don’t act like a dick. You won’t be everyone’s taste. Remember if you find a good one keep hold of her.

5’8 here and decent looking. I’m 22 and been with 21 women. I used to be bad at talking to women but I’ll make a list of things that really helped in the last two years.

Making strong eye contact. Women love that and it’s something I’m always trying to keep working on
Fun and flirty vibes. You need to be an interesting person that is clearly fun to be around. As the song goes, "girls just wanna have fun".
Start watching a decent amount of pick up content. My personal favorites are Austen Summers, A G Hayden, Playing with Fire and Coach Kyle.

Alright, 5’6 here. Didn’t have many girlfriends but tinder was an easy way to rack up my body count (I hate using that terminology but can’t think of any other stuff at to paraphrase it). I am also 55lbs overweight and have stretch marks but go to the gym so my weight and looks shifts a lot (most likely the cause of my stretch marks). I usually focus on myself and be myself at clubs and get togethers and girls and their male friends come socialize with me because the province im in their are way to many white people and to them I’m interesting because the pigment of my skin is different (I was also raised in that province so that’s a rip)

Increase your sex appeal and masculinity. I’m 5’8” white Greek, somewhat handsome, that does the trick for me. If you’re skinny do a bulk and learn compound lifts, then cut, rinse and repeat. Get a haircut that suits you, nice cologne, good fitting outfit, new glasses frames if you wear glasses.

That’s all outer stuff or “bait” to draw women in. Now you need to have the inner game, this is where masculinity comes in. Being confident in yourself and having high self esteem. Being conscious and centered. Being sexually confident in your ability to be a good lover or to learn to be one. TLDR improve body game if you’re under 6’

Doing the inner and outer work required will put you in the top 20% of men, even if it’s only in looks/personality not considering other factors. If you’re in that bracket you will find certain girls are really attracted to you and make it effortless.

I’m 5’8.. honestly I’m pretty attractive for my height, and I have a decent personality/job, so I’ve always done pretty well. I stopped counting years ago but I’ve consistently dated/hooked up with women since about 2012. I think ultimately it all starts at home.. I always make sure I look and feel good, from constant exercise and diet, and wearing clothes that suits your style, and make sure you’re at your best in public settings. And consistency. The more you talk to women, the better you get at the craft. There is no “perfect” way for a man to get a woman, regardless in height or looks.

My biggest change was realizing my worth. Not being afraid of the outcome. Realizing that if she’s attracted to you, you don’t need to overdo anything. It’s all pretty simple once you date enough.

I’m a little taller at 5’9” but I’m not at the 6’ border. So we’re in the same boat.

I am just upfront about it on the apps. Also I hooked up with a tiny Latina girl and did everything I could to rock her world. Concentrate on being an ace in every other part of your life and the height won’t make a huge difference.

Also, find shoes that are friendly to your height if it continues to be an issue. I bought a pair of Griffey Air Max’s and I measured at 5’11” in them.

One thing I can’t stress enough is don’t make your height a big deal and they won’t either. Be undeniable as a human and if she’s shorter than you it won’t matter.

FWIW - I had sex with a former volleyball player who was 6’4”. Most men were intimidated by her and when she asked if the height difference bothered me, I said were the same height when we’re laying down with super legit confidence. Long story short I slept with her on and off for 2 years.

Be confident and don’t worry about the tinder girls that say 6’+. That will never end well for you anyhow.

It’s not your height, it’s your energy. I’m 5’7 maybe 5’8 on a good day. I don’t have a problem with dates and often I date taller. How you carry yourself, your self awareness and your confidence will contribute to your energy. Give out good energy. Do whatever you need to do to feel centered, confident and calm and you’ll realize it was never about the height that was holding you down, it was you.

Does looking good and fit make you feel comfortable and confident? Ok dress better and work out more.

Do you feel good/confident when you’re in your sharing your passions or skills or hobbies? Ok get better at them etc

It's not about your height, it's about "you" as a total package. If you can't hold your own, or make conversation or be worth spending time around, it doesn't matter.

Height and looks will help open doors with women, everything else is what keeps them.
