I think this is caused by the fact that we are in a weird transition period on the way to abolish gender roles. At the moment, women are more freed from their shackles than men are, and can easier survive on their own. For example, men still rely on women for emotional support, but women no longer rely on men for financial support.

Yup. Men just can't stay away from women, they are pathetic and weak. All of them. If men had any self-respect and dignity, they would do the MGTOW and actually MEAN it. They would vastly improve the relationship between members of their own gender, which is toxic to the brim atm, they would learn to be content on their own, focusing on their own lives, work, friends, family, travels, hobbies, etc. They would be happy and fulfilled on their own and IF a woman they liked happened to come in their lives, she would be an added bonus to an already happy and content life. And she wouldn't be needed to MAKE their lives happy.

It's a shame that men lack the basic human self-respect to actually behave like this.

This is only true for women who are young and attractive. They're on a time limit because eventually the wall will hit them, and some women realize this sooner rather than later. Antidepressant use is highest among women over 60 after all.

When my mom died, my dad dated a lot of desperate, miserable and lonely ass women in their 50s/60s, instead of committing suicide they just live alone and just became pitiful old women who catfish men their age on dating sites with photos of decades past, when they weren't so old and undesirable.

I think it's the possibility of ending up like them which drives a lot of men to suicide.

In terms of relationships? Maybe in the short term before the age of like 35. But after that, I wouldn't say it's farfetched to assume that most women would want at least one kid or some kind of lifelong companionship. This seems true on the internet, you hear far more talk about Incels more than ever.

But in the real world it seems different, My guy friends are always talking about stuff like videogames, TV, football, music and all that jazz. The topic of women rarely comes up, but when I talk to my lady friends they all seem to talk about nothing but guys. I've even seen one record videos of attractive men they see in public and post it on their story. If they talk about TV it's about which character is hot, and if it's about football they talk about which footballer is hot.

The only difference is that women can stay sexless far more than men can due to their higher desirability, but when it comes down to actual thirst for the opposite sex. Women seem to take the cake.
