The lesson I take away from this is that when a man rejects you, don’t dig for the reason.

It’s nothing you want to hear and it will hurt and not be constructive at all. If everything was going right but there’s something in your behavior that turned him off, what are you gonna do with that info, beg him to take you back? On the flip side if it’s nothing you did but he just doesn’t feel that way about you, like this guy, do you want that hit in your confidence?

I know a man who dated a chick for two whole years waiting to “get feelings”, so I think OP is right that there are men who fill fake entire relationships.

But in 3 *dates I don’t think anyone is invested enough to take this personally. It was three meals, he doesn’t like her, and broke it off. Spare your own feelings and don’t dig for the reasons of rejection.

and this is why I am not a fan of dating apps....a lot of the males on there are very desperate and they are just right-swiping on EVERYONE, so when he actually looked through her pics, he didn't feel that attracted to her, but because he's desperate, he still went on the dates with her anyways knowing that he wasn't interested.... a lot of times when males swipe on me, I can't tell if they did it because they're genuinely interested or because they are just right swiping on everyone and looking for a free prostitute...

Even if she was pressing for a reason, if he is worried that it would upset her why bother wondering if he should have been truthful. It was also only 3 dates…I think if they had been in a committed relationship for 3 years I’d understand wanting to be honest. But for something that insignificant all you have to do is just say you weren’t interested and leave it at that. The only reason I could see for wanting to say “it’s because of your physique” is just to humiliate her. It’s just not necessary and also this dude is telling on himself here hard.

Anyways, don’t press guys to know why they’re rejecting you unless you’ve had a significant relationship. I used to do this with guys I’d only gone on a few dates with because I was extremely insecure, and I only felt really desperate for asking and like a loser after. I gained NO significant insight from it either. You are better off asking some trusted women in your life to give you honest opinions on your behaviors/habits or even some sort of women’s subreddit like this.

Men will date people they don’t find attractive and then act surprise when they need to be accountable for the choices they made. If he didn’t want to be in a situation where he would need to say that to her then the right thing to do would be for him to not went on a date with her but he probably wasn’t thinking about how this is going to affect her, his own satisfaction was more important than her feelings.

So another scrote who thinks himself too good for a woman who he actually gets along with. Women would be shamed for not being attracted to him physically because he "treated her so well" like it seems she did this scrote.

Males are not telling the whole truth and putting it out there for examination. Healthy males are attracted to many different types of women. They also have hormones that drive this. It is women who are more discerning (naturally) because we give birth to offspring and want a male that gives good genes to children with whom women risk their bodies and lives to produce. This is natural and makes more sense due to the risk being so great. It is societal/cultural indoctrination and programming that helps curb and annihilate this instinct in women so that sub par males can survive and have a chance at reproducing at the expense of women.

However the truth of why he wanted to discontinue is males are perpetual children and they are very scared of what their scrote friends think. They will derive pleasure and comfort from a regular looking woman that satisfies "needs for sex", they can get along with her as well, they love her nurturing qualities. But that is not enough because porn, video games , media and their scrote friends allow an over indulgence in delusional fantasies of what they feel they deserve to cloud their judgment . This is really what is eating at this scrote. He feels entitled to a fantasy. A normal, nice ,more than likely decent looking woman won't inspire envy of him with his equally delusional scrote friends. I hope he ends up lonely and depressed as he deserves. He spit at a golden opportunity while being sub par and mediocre at best.

Unpopular opinion here, but this seems genuine to me. All this implies is that he's dating and assessing compatibility, trying to see if a spark will develop. 🤷‍♀️ Real fuckboy behavior would be if he wasn't attracted to her but kept stringing her along for sex anyways.

Yes, it's possible that he could have been trying to see if he could get sex out of her (despite the lack of attraction), and he just left that part out of the post. But based off of the text here alone, there is not enough evidence to indicate that he's an LVM.
