Honestly, sometimes I get SO FED UP with what my female friends are willing to accept from men. The amount of absolute, utter bullshit they put up with under the guise of a man's "promises" makes me want to vomit. The years I spent wasting away in fucked up, shitty relationships, (metaphorically) wiping the asses of losers who can barely get out of bed because they're too stoned to function makes me sick.

They hook us with their promises. They know how to say the right thing to get the dopamine flowing so that we get all excited about their potential, and they never actually have to follow through. In fact, it almost works better if they don't, because then they get the added benefit of being the wounded bird and can pull the sympathy card and play on our need to help and nurture.

Why are all of my beautiful, talented, intelligent, motivated, successful, smart friends either single or in a relationship where they would be better off single?

Ladies, assume any man you meet is already doing his best. Using his time in the best way possible. Earning the most he can, maximizing his health in the best way he knows how, contributing to the world at his maximum capacity. Because anything more than what he's doing right now is false promise. If you cannot physically see the fruits of his efforts, it's worth nothing. Less than nothing.

I'm currently living in a country with a pretty high unemployment rate, and every single bum ass loser uses that as an excuse to not even try, in any aspect of his life. It's pathetic loser energy, and I hate seeing my friends put up with this shit.

Never make excuses for a man's lack of success.

Never assume he would do better if his circumstances were better.

Never let him use his childhood, past trauma, upbringing, or any of that bullshit as an excuse to be anything less than his best. Women overcome insane amounts of trauma daily and never get to use it as an excuse to be useless pieces of shit.

Never do more than a man in the relationship. Ever.

If he COULD be better, he WOULD be.
