I thought this may be a bit of a therapeutic post. When was the moment you knew it was over?

For me: Our sex life had never been great, but we wound up in a completely dead bedroom. It was partly my fault...I let the lack of sex bring me down. I let myself go and gained weight. Kind of turned into a slob.

At a certain point it hit me, and I got my shit together. I put down the fork and started hitting the gym 5 days a week. Got on TRT treatments. In about 8 months I had reached the point where I was in the best shape of our marriage. My wife would drop little comments here and there about how good I was looking, but the sex never returned.

At about the 3 1/2 year point of no sex we were sitting in the media room watching TV. For some reason we were watching Family Feud...something we never watched. In the final round, the first question was "We asked 100 women on a scale of 1-10, how physically attracted are you to your husband." She immediately blurted out "TWO." I was floored...I just looked at her and said "wow"....she tried laughing it off, saying "most guys let themselves go", but I knew exactly what she meant. I could tell by the look on her face she knew she fucked up. The real kicker? The number one answer was 10.

It was right then I realized no matter what I did, no matter how ripped I got, that she had lost all attraction for me and it wasnt coming back. I knew right then that we were never going to have sex again. I decided the next day I was not going to live like a monk the rest of my life.

So, I'm curious. What was the final straw for you?
