Absolutely. It doesn't matter what gender you are, if you support men's rights than by definition you're an MRA. Of course you're free to use or not use that or any other label, what you call yourself isn't nearly as important as a viewpoint of equality.

You don't really need to worry about 'doing' anything. A lot of people your age and those in the school system are very much not interested in hearing about men's rights or men's problems, so sticking your neck out in support of men can definitely have backlash. If you want you can familiarize yourself with some of the struggles men have, hard statistics that go against the feminist and msm narrative, etc. but even casually trying to correct family and friends in the nicest way possible can have negative social consequences.

Yeah there’s no problem with female Allie’s, I appreciate women like Roma army, Sydney Watson, pearly things and more. But since you’re a teenager I’d say just be careful. I don’t like talking to anyone under 20. Just feels weird, especially I used to game and even if it was a boy, just felt wrong on so many levels. But I know not all ppl are like that and even through I know a lot of men are good. Still have to be careful for the dangerous ones. But overall I don’t think you need to donate anything. I personally appreciate anyone that just talks about it even a little. The other day my fiancées mom was saying a man must pay for everything and my fiancées 13 year old sister was like why??? And the mom said the cliche things. The daughter said what about in gay and lesbian couples??? The mom said they both pay. The daughter said why can’t it be that way in a straight relationship??? The mom was annoyed. I was just proud that she through beyond just using a man for his money. She’s pretty smart and I’m happy she sees the double standards and questions it rather than blindly follow. Honestly just mentioning the mra problems is a huge benefit that could help against the widely accepted misandry. In my college there was students and professors loving art and plays about killing men. I wish someone other than me would say how wrong that is

ill be completely honest and blunt... we need more female MRAs. from my experience society only really seems to give a fuck about anything if its said by a woman. and even then, the radfems attack them like crazy (i follow a few amazing creators on tiktok who campaign for proper equality and mens voices being heard equally as much as women's and radfems are constantly attacking them for daring to treat everyone equally)

you can be whoever you want to be (wise words from great mothers). This includes what you value and what causes you fight for or simply support... this doesn't mean it will be accepted and you won't get shamed/ridiculed for it.
You are helping by just aligning yourself with the cause. A simple and realistic way to help would be to have more conversations about MRA issues with your friends and family, both male and female. Since you are a very young adult.. that demographic (young and female especially) is perhaps the most susceptible to feminist craziness, ideas and mentalities. Especially if they are put through the indoctrination camps otherwise known as universities/higher education.

TLDR: everyone has a voice and an opinion. Don't be afraid to express yours amongst peers. I am truly of the belief that we have gotten so far off track with some aspects of society which stems from feminism/woke BS because many men and women alike, keep silent out of fear of shame and condemnation. Silence is placid acceptance. An inch at a time and we end up in hell because 'no one' voiced their opinion in spite of the consequences (shame/condemnation).

Yes you can. Nothing prevents you from standing up for us. In fact it lends us some legitimacy. See our detractors can't claim we're all women-hating men or incels or whatever their insult de jour is when we welcome women who stand beside us with open arms.

Though some will imply you to be a traitor. They will call you a "pick me" or a "self-hating woman" while we will call you a "honey badger".

But your support is important. No women stood up for me or by me when I needed it, in fact many kicked me while I was down. I heard people insist that feminism was "for both sexes" but they hung me out to dry when I needed them with what they claim to specialize in. It left me bitter. There was a strong temptation to just hate the half that did what they did to me. I didn't have that support I needed and many others might have given in to just bitter hate.

The more women that are there to stand by us the less likely it is that boys and men fall into the temptation of meeting hate with hate out of pure spite.

There are a lot of female MRAs. You could start by watching The Red Pill by Cassie Jaye, then India's Sons by Deepika Bhardwaj.

Something to be aware of is that almost all feminists see men's rights as being in opposition to feminism. The reasons for this are ideological. Early feminists asserted that men were an oppressor class - much like the system under Feudalism, where some people were born into the ruling class and others had to pay taxation without representation. Of course, both men and women were members of the ruling class and the same was true of the oppressed or victimised class. Feminists treat gender as if it was the same thing, with women being victims of generational disadvantage and men being recipients of generational privilege. It is easy to see that a woman born into a privileged, ruling class had far more rights, equity and opportunities than a man born into actual slavery. No slave ever stood at the altar and said, "I do" like a wife but feminists treat women as if they had no choice and no responsibility - just like a slave.

This makes feminists very angry at men as a whole and leads to their assertions that sexism cannot exist against men. They also assert that misandry is not real and that discrimination against men is not to be considered discrimination (The UN Declaration on the Prevention of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women, Article 4, states this explicitly).

So, there is a LOT to do as an MRA. I've already written a lot here but one more reason why we need women to be MRAs is because discrimination against men affects us all - especially children. Women are denied places in most domestic violence shelters if they have sons over the age of 12. Fathers who are victims of domestic violence have no help at all except in a few rare places. Feminists focus on the fact that most CEOs and Presidents are men but so are most unsheltered homeless people, most victims of violence, most workplace deaths and injuries and, importantly, most suicides.

What we need is not feminism. We need human rights regardless of gender and we need women to demand it. Nothing less and nothing more.

The inequalities between men and women are complicated. There is no ONE measurement for it, because both sides have advantages and disadvantages. As well, the differences vary from country to country, and also from state to state.

Absorb the world around you, and use your knowledge and experience to ask yourself what your values in life are going to be. Hopefully it will include equality and fairness for ALL, regardless of gender yes, but also other immutable characteristics.

And remember that laws can be written to SOUND neutral, but can in reality have vastly different effects on specific groups of people. It is an advanced tactic of bigoted politicians, to try to find out how to write laws that appear neutral, but in reality end up oppressing a people - just as they intended (but avoid saying out loud).

The handful of female MRAs out there haven't done much to help men who are in need in any material way, and trade almost exclusively in shrieking "I'm a broad who's also an anti-feminist!!!" on social media, then pretending that theatrical gestures like these make a difference out in reality

You can help by organizing as many folks as you can(women and men alike), in the service of agitating for reforms like making shared parenting legislation the law of the land, ending The Drug War, abolishing most forms of welfare in favor of putting most current recipients into legit work, and providing greater access to vocational training than currently exists. None of these reforms need to be framed as gendered problems, and enacting all of them will dramatically reduce many of the social problems which disproportionately affect men here in '22

Public shows of support are hardly safe for men, I don’t think women get it much easier.

You’d mostly be pushed out of many of your “sisterhood” circles for just speaking about it, really. They’d probably want to know what man corrupted you into thinking this way, looking to claim some abuse towards them.

If what you mean is men and women should truly be treated equally, and held to the same standards and expectations, then that’s /r/egalitarian. It’s mostly just a sad joke of how successful feminisms PR is that you’d think of that as men’s rights.

If you want to be more of an activist MRA, and make a difference, know you are in many positions in life where your voice simply matters more to people than a man’s would, and use that to defend men from women you see hurting them. Because of the strict restrictions on male physicality, while they usually could defend themselves, they are restricted by society from doing so. Their options are to risk the violence of the state or accept the abuse, you speaking up gives them a third option.

For a more directly specific example of this, you could call your friends who become mothers and choose to mutilate the penis of their babies, or handwave away the mutilation as a decision of the father or someone else, as what they are: child sexual abusers who mutilated their children. Your position close to these women who should be protecting their children on their own might just save one or more baby boys from starting out their lives being tortured and violated.

Kind of crazy what kind of abuse you can prevent with just words, but it is what it is.

I would sit it out a couple of years and then re-visit: it's great that you can see the disparity, but it's also important to understand that the community overreaction does not come from nowhere, and that advocating for equal treatment will put you in contact with a mixture of people, some of whom will be very toxic. It would not be uncommon to jump in thinking you're going to do good where it is needed and then come out, well, grossed out by the abusive and irrational expectations of some of those seeking help.

Absolutely, but...

Try very hard to avoid making your personal identity depend on any group labels. A term like "MRA" is a bundle of positions that you should carefully evaluate separately and figure out what you actually agree with and are willing to spend effort to support. Further, movements and labels shift over time, and just because you mostly agree with some group now doesn't mean that you should in a few years.

There are people who were Feminist in 1980 who still consider themselves Feminist now just because that's how they've always seen themselves and therefore support any position presented as a Feminist position now. Whether or not they'd really agree with all those positions if they considered them separate of the label, some of the positions are different and the context meaningfully has changed in the past 40 years.

"Ally" is a stupid, ideological term. Just be a normal person & of course everyone is "welcome" here. I wouldn't even describe myself as an MRA.

I also don't think you necesarilly need to go out of your way to "help" & "pander" to men. Just treating men as normal people, instead of something to "overcome" and be "feared" (which is how feminists treat men), goes a very long way.

Mens rights and women's rights should parallel, not be at odds. I don't think (atleast I hope) mens rights isn't "vs" feminism, we should all be working together to achieve the most healthy society for both parties. I think to often, it turns into a type of victim Olympics, I think it's great you are interested in mens rights and I think the best way you could help would be by sturing dialogue within your circle of friends and by cultivating a sense of empathy within that group in terms of mens rights issues.

A lot of people have covered a lot of things, so at this point I'd recommend that you might want to do some reading in case you have to have to back up your views. Erin Pizzey, Christina Hoff Sommers, and Camille Paglia, have all written books or essays that can help you refine your views. There are also podcasts that can be informative, but keep in mind that some push MGTOW ideas, while others are oriented towards men's rights.

Be prepared to get some flack from people about your views, but stay strong. There are probably a lot of women who agree with you but are staying quiet out of fear.

There are men who are feminists too. Of course in the modern legal climate, they are unneeded and essentially just white knights. I respect any person who is willing to stand against discriminatory practices.

Off course! I'm a mother I have 4 kids (3boys, 1girl) and I'm here so I can protect my boys from toxic masculinity and fake feminists that don't understand that "the same rights for woman" don't mean the same as "less rights for men".

But to be honest I don't think you will get a lot wiser about man's right around here, I only see posts complaining about woman and a lot of men reacting on it like every female on the world is like that...a lot a lot of these guys use men's rights to spread hate against woman like the fake feminist use fake "feminism" to spread hate towards men.

The main reason for me to come here was my father he committed suicide and the help that a mother would get, they didn't gave him.

The funny thing about Mens Rights is that they literally mirror Woman’s Rights. Just ask yourself how you’d like to be treated in any particular situation and apply it to how you treat the men you’ll meet through our life.

If you really want to get into specifics about it, ask your father or older brothers if you have any about it. They’ll have valuable insight on the issue.

No one should be an MRA.

Feminism covers most men's issues. While MRAs do bring up legitimate issues, their solutions are often not helpful. Such as trying to abolish feminism, or trying to force men into the same boxes that make them miserable in the first place.

That being said, you don't have to be a feminist either. Just understand that people should be allowed to pursue their individual desires as long as no one is being hurt, and people shouldn't be treated as a monolith.

I've always pushed for humanism. Each group wants to advocate for itself and it's members only. This doesn't solve the actual problem of inequality, it's just a tug of war that no one can possibly win.

Do what feels right for you. Always listen and talk to people with differing opinions. It's how we avoid echo chambers and grow as people.

Of course, anyone can be an MRA. Some of the most famous MRAs are women.

Women have more credibility when it comes to gender-related matters. When a man complains about injustice to men, he is often ignored or people think he is just whining or complaining. When a woman says the same thing, people take it more seriously.

Therefore, as a female ally, the best thing you can do is speak out. Talk to people about gender-related issues. Point out injustices against both men and women. Encourage people to eliminate discrimination in both directions.

That is the most powerful thing you can do as an MRA ally. Don't worry about donating money or anything like that at your stage. You can do that when you're older.

It’s okay. We don’t need a teenage girl to hep with our rights. You’re nice and everything but our rights are complicated and we’re getting screwed by our legal system. Women get all of the rights men have earned and then some except they have done almost nothing to deserve them. All they have done is complain to a weak government while all men had to sign up for the draft and be ready to go fight to the death if need be. Freedom isn’t free it’s paid for with blood. Mens blood. While women seem perfectly happy living like the rights and freedoms we have they have somehow earned. Women empowerment has done nothing but alienate men and caused children to be raised by stepdads. Why do women want it that way? Control. Women have become control freaks. Our congress needs to take a real look at the true nature of women. It was Eves fault Adam fell from Eden.
