You're missing the key point which is very very very few men are actually sleeping with hot young women and then settling with an older woman.

The argument made is that many women sleep with certain types of guys when younger but then settle with a different type of guy when they get older.

I'm not even the one making those arguments but for the life of me I can't understand why so many here can't comprehend what they're saying

The whole incel/redpill complaint was that women don't settle until they absolutely have to.

The reason why they liked "the old order" is because it forced women to settle right off the bat.

The complaint is that women settle for a man they are less sexually attracted to which results in infrequent sex and everything that goes with that.

Whereas even if a man "settles" for an older woman, he still will likely want to have a thriving sexual relationship with her.

The issue here boils down to sexual frequency and habits.

They are unaffected in the case of the man settling, and the position you're arguing against states that they are affected in case of the woman settling.

Bro, like 90% of people won't end up with their ideal partner. Settling to some degree is a reality for both men and women in relationship and even when one partner gets their ideal partner, it's more than likely that the other partner did not.

I think men are less concerned with women settling for them in general, and more concerned with WHEN they settle. Most guys here don’t like to be settled for AFTER she’s been with every Chad, Dick, Harry, Pookie, Ray Ray and Tyrone in her 20s.

Most guys KNOW they aren’t the best hottest richest coolest guys out there. They just want to be secure in their women’s commitment to them. They don’t really care if she settles for him.

We could accept settling down with you if you remained virgin at 30, yet what you do is ride the carrousel and get your body count exponential with new fauna of sexual diseases, that is why we prefer women in the age range 18-22 because they have less body count, less risk for sexual diseases as well as are the most fertile and beautiful.

You've just strawmanned every guy into one box filled with your own assumptions for a small amount of promiscuous men that didn't really want a long term relationship.

18-23 is the preferred age range, because it's the one where women have the least experience, men that go for 5-10 year age gaps want hypergamous relationships, and you can't get one if the woman Is more experienced than you. Don't forget women grow up faster, have more emotional intelligence than men of the same age, so usually they can easily handle a man 5 years older.

There is a difference between awareness and action.

Maybe my monkey brain does recognize the 22 year old woman as most attractive. But my evolved brain supersedes that. Also there are plenty women that are tremendously beautiful that are older than 23.

Also its not like an older woman can't think a hot 20 year old football jock is most attractive.

Those men complain and date younger women because when they were younger the younger women ignored them. They are bitter towards older women because older women got their cake and now they want to eat it too. As a man in his 30s who became attractive, succesful, after a decade of hard work and self improvement I have earned my keep to date younger women. In my experience older women are bitter, resentful, damaged, demanding, and just aren't fun to be around.

Those women refused to settle when they were younger, which would have helped me grow quicker. So I will not settle for them in their old age. Instead I endured extreme hardship, suffering, lonliness for years - all because I was a little overweight.

The guys who complain about this failed to satiate their peak fertility/libido craze. They are simultaneously jealous of women who did, and insecure they aren't as desirable as the guys who got her first.
