Long story short, I refused to leave my house during the divorce proceedings. My wife attempted to file everything on me, fake DV, TRO which was denied, request for sole use of the residence also denied. So she's been out of the home with the kids for weeks. She came back last week but she erected this steel cage and bolted it to the walls and padlocked it shut. "To separate me from them". The kids rooms on ine side and the rest of the house (including the exits) on the other. I told her this steel cage was an extremely hazardous thing to have in the house if there was a fire or earthquake and she ignored me. I called it in to CPS they stated since it was my house I could remove it as I pleased. So I got my trusty bolt cutters, and told her I'm going to remove it. She says if you cut the lock I'm calling 911. So I say do what you gotta do and cut the lock. Then I went and sat in my couch waiting for the police to come.

And boy did they come. 5 or 6 police cars drive up onto my lawn, flood lights. Ten cops swarm my house with guns drawn, police dogs. I get cuffed and placed in the car while they storm my house while the kids are freaking the fuck out. They come back about thirty minutes later telling me they pulled up everything and I was completely justified in what I did. She called them saying I was "breaking in" and "there was a restraining order against me" and I was "going to kill her". All false. They remove my hand cuffs and give me my phone back.

They keep me in the back of the car until my wife gathers up the kids and leaves.

They didn't even confiscate my bolt cutters.
