I want to see whether you guys believe being mildly autistic is worse than being unattractive.
For me i am both unattractive + mildly autistic so I cant really answer this lmao.

But in reality, I always see unattractive men or women in relationships, having friends, maintaining stable employment, etc.

Mildly autistic people are not easily able to achieve these supposedly basic life goals due to being well, AUTISTIC. 90% unemployment rate after college graduation. Life expectancy of 58 years. Male and female fertility rates of 0.2 and 0.45 respectively (reflecting a failing ability to form romantic connections). Suicide rates that are over 10 times higher than that of the general population, etc. The statistics are just horrible. Those 3 essential things of being able to make friends, maintain employment and form romanitc connections, those 3 oh so importnat things in life are taken away from you essentially. Although I do have a little theory as to why SOME are still able to succeed.

Lets take the male fertility rate of 0.2 for example. The study was done in sweden, a country which is essentially full of the tall, blonde, blue eyed phenotype that is heavily fetishised as being "attractive". Despite taht only 20% of mildly autistic men were able to have kids. What does this say? I feel like this demonstrates how if you have mild autism, you need to be physically attractive in order to compensate for it via the halo effect. From my experiences and opinions of others and statistics, I would say around 20% of the general male pouplation would be considered attractive. Thus, these are the people with mild autism who end up having kids. The people in that 0.2 fertility rate are disproportionately attractive relative to those in the bottom 80% (this is just a theory).
