Bodybuilding.com has already done a social experiment and the autistic, good looking guy did way better than the average guy with good social skills. Same result happened with a male who was a convicted sex offender but now renounced his ways. He also did way better than the average guy with good social skills.

As a short guy, I would rather be the tall, attractive, autistic guy. I think you underestimate how much women like men they are actually attracted to, they'll probably just ask him out or be direct about them liking him if he has trouble picking up cues.

Edit: Doesn't it make sense to other? Looks are what makes the first impression, personality and/or behavior comes secondary. If you pass the looks part, the personality part usually becomes easier(there is research that attractive people are seen in a better light). But if you don't even pass the looks part you never even get to show your personality/behavior or whatever.

Women have a lot of options, so a lot of men get turned down based on the first thing women see, the looks. So obviously prioritising that is much more important than the thing that gets judged second, that is personality.

This is again not even mentioning that neurotypical stuff can be learned, but height and face structure just can't be changed except with a lot of pain and/or money.

Saying this as a short, mildly attractive, NT guy. If you're comparing on short NT vs. tall AT, then it would be a fairer fight. But short + unattractive is a pretty bad beat. I'd mostly consider tall/attractive/AT over short/unattractive/NT. Once you start stacking highly positive multipliers, it's much easier even if you have one particularly bad negative.

Being tall and attractive, even if you're extremely socially awkward due to autism, means you'll still get quite a few second and third chances in life in all sorts of ways that a short and unattractive person won't. And as society becomes increasingly aware of autism, there will be all manners of support for it. Would you still rather be NT? Absolutely. But it's no longer a detriment and stigmatized the way it was 25 years ago. And putting that in a shell of a tall, attractive man? You might as well become a spokesperson for the cause.

A short, unattractive guy though would probably get a short leash on pretty much everything. You're largely invisible in the dating world. You'll struggle socially unless you compensate for it with extreme charisma (which will take like 10x longer to build relative to someone attractive). You will be niched into non-physical work mostly, so if you're not intellectually competent your trajectory will be limited. But you are unlikely to become the face of most work, so your role is mostly in the background.

You're right that Red/Black pills attract neuroatypicals but that doesn't mean the pills are wrong per se. And the Halo Effect means that being weird will often get reinterpreted into something nicer if you have physical attractiveness.

Devil is in the details here. You'd have to post actual faces of each option to know. And then even for high functioning autistic/ADHD/spectrummy guys, sexual success depends on certain features of the disability and your personality.

Highly neuroticism and anxiety tends to get amplified by even a bit of autistic like disability, and can be a sexual death sentence even if tall and relatively good looking. On the other hand, I have seen neuroatypical guys with low anxiety and neuroticism slay in the casual sex market, though still struggle with relationships.

As a woman, I’d rather be the short guy. I honestly don’t think there’s anything harder to overcome in relationships (platonic or romantic, male or female) than being “off,” no matter what the reason. It’s really heartbreaking.

If I were an autistic person or someone with Asperger’s, I would try to find other people like me to be friends with and date, at least as my primary relationships. There are so many nuances in human connections that I would be worried I’d struggle with. I’d rather be relaxed and feel not judged.

My brother is beautiful, model beautiful. Photogenic, 6’4”, and weirdly muscular for someone who doesn’t go outside. He’s also autistic and drawn to absolutes and idles at a low-grade, seething rage barely concealed from others. He has a handful of friends with similar habits and my parents fostered quite a few boys on the spectrum. I’ve been around ASD my whole life.

He’s also the reason I have this alt, because he’s drawn to hateful manosphere rhetoric but doesn’t articulate what he’s angry about well. I see a lot of the same complaints here.

Women stare at him everywhere we go, they always have. They approach him frequently, sometimes through me or our other siblings and his friends. It never works. He stares openly and appraises their faces, their hair, and their body. He asks them “what’s funny” if they are overly smiley or friendly. Within a couple minutes of approaching most women (and girls when he was younger) regret it.

The kid is brilliant. If he’s excited about something, he’s fascinating and engaging. He likes EDM and I take him to a lot of festivals and shows where drugs are common. This is the only place he does well with women, because their inhibitions are lowered by drugs or weed. He unfortunately hates tattoos, piercings, and weird hair, which disqualifies 99.9% of the women there.

His life is hard. Twenty+ years and I still have no idea if he wants love, sex, attention, or nothing. I just know his behavior and attitude keeps women away. Our oldest two brothers are short-ish but have always been popular. Whenever our single brother has a new girlfriend, which is every holiday we go home, little brother is furious. He showed up with two women on Mothers Day. Little brother was apoplectic.

I believe he’d subtract a foot from his height in exchange for a calm, happy lifestyle.

As a short, unattractive, autistic guy both choices are improvements for me. It's a tough choice but i think i would go with the short, unattractive neurotypical guy. Me being different has been a huge cause of problems and pain for me since childhood. 5'7 isn't short enough to be a huge hindrance and even if i'm still ugly, i imagine being normal is a hell lot better than not fitting in anywhere.

I am a 5'4" (on the lower side of average height here), average looking (maybe a 5/10 ig) neurotypical guy. I have always felt it would've been better if I was a taller and a little good looking. I am not saying women care about looks only or you don 't need communication skills or confidence if you are taller. But personally, I have seen how taller friends with worse communication skills than mine living dating life on easier mode because the girl was into them and hence more talkative and chattier. For me, that initial phase of talking where I need to compensate for my short height and looks with my humor and communication skills were always hardest because they were not physically into me at that point. It was so tiring that I stopped this whole dating a few years ago because it felt like the efforts were not worth the result.

But that being said, I would still prefer to be an ugly short neurotypical guy. I would go for some ugly short woman who I think has better chance to impress as I can develop a connection with her. Moreover, I need my communication and intact interpersonal skills for my job. I feel dating is the not the most important aspect of my life. Unless, if the proposed autism would still allow me to function optimally i a society and in relationship, I would choose to be a short ugly guy!

I'm tall, good looking, successful and spectrum. Yes I often get approached by women both overtly and on the low down, but if I want to progress it I have to spend the entire time masking which is a miserable exhausting experience which renders the whole exercise pointless, doomed and painful. So both options are equally bad I would suggest.

As a short 3/10 (based on who I can date) guy who is normal, I prefer being who I am

I'm reasonably smart, going to school, getting degrees, investing cash, building my career, my plan is to early retire by 45 to Philippines. Don't need to be tall there, and if you have money, don't need to be attractive.

I accept my beta bucks sexual strategy and how I'll have to support her and her family. Divorce is illegal there so not a horrible strategy like in the west.

I could retire now, but I like my job and pushing myself to see how far I can get in life first.
