Depends on the day. Key is communication and consent. Sometimes I like a slow romantic session, others a more wild time. Also “loving and passionate” doesn’t discount wanting it “rougher” or vice a versa. I still am having a loving and passionate time with my husband no matter the flavor of sex.

I don’t know where the men in this thread are getting that women prefer rough sex so “lean dominant.” It’s best to just communicate because I don’t have many friends that prefer rough sex it’s more so they prefer passion. Also rough sex is painful, it would depend on the woman. I have personally never enjoyed rough sex or being dominated.

A lot of what the manosphere is defining as "rough or dominant", I would say better fits under like...kinky or violent? And no, I'm not into that. And most of the women I know aren't into that.

I think all of us enjoy slow and passionate. But, I think a lot of us enjoy rough, and by that I mean, it's closer to rough housing. It feels very playful and real strength is involved for sure. I can't say I've ever felt dominated really.

I also think in a lot of cases you're hearing how the manosphere thinks of the sex they're having. "They're the boss, they're in charge, they're dominant". There's no reason to assume the women they're fucking have to think that sex means they're dominated.

Women are varied and like different things. Sometimes multiple things. So sometimes I want a more slow build up and more tender slow love making. But a lot of times, I want to feel anomalistically desired. At those times I prefer more aggressive, dominant sex from my husband. Nothing too crazy, but I want to feel so desired by him he almost can’t control himself. The key is “almost.” My hubs stops immediately at even the smallest indication of real discomfort or if I say stop/need to change positions/ don’t like that.

I like it but not in the receiving kind of way. It can be loving and passionate too, love and passion are at the centre of any sex for me. I like men who are sexually very gentle, I'm just not always gentle. In general most people aren't kinky, although it's trendy at the moment to at least try it.

I think it's interesting that you only refer dominance as in a woman being dominated in the post, but the title is neutral about who is doing the dominating.

I enjoy dominance and being the dominant one in bed. I can be submissive in bed when I am in the mood sometimes. Even though I enjoy kink, I enjoy vanilla just as much and enjoy a sweet passionate night with my man.

That can be fun from time to time with a trusted long-term partner, but not every time and certainly wouldn’t want it with someone I didn’t know very well.

Women vary in what they like, some will be more dominant or submissive and a lot will just want passionate “vanilla” sex or like to switch things up. One thing that absolutely needs to stop is putting hands on a new partner’s throat without consent because “women like dominate men, right?” Because a lot don’t, and even those who do, consent is essential.

It very much depends. My current partner? No. But I also don’t want to dominate him. We are equals. If he had a desire to, I’d be down but it just isn’t his vibe.

Have I in the past? Yeah, I was deep into the kink community for a long time. I’m a switch. I’ve been dominated and have also been a professional Domme.
